It's been two days since I saw Peeta, I was shaken up, Johanna tried to keep my mind off of it which was helping me.

But there has been a health outbreak, it's like a really bad flu, the symptoms are , fever, cough and vomiting so it's not great and somehow I've been given it. Johanna refuses ti leave my side even though she'll probably get sick also

" ughhh" I groaned and johanna laughed

" you know you are very dramatic when you sick" she said and I gave her the finger

" hey watch that language" my mom said as she stood in the doorway

" hey Mrs Everdeen" johanna said and mom smiled

" hello Johanna, how is she?"

" puking her guts up and her temperature hasn't gone down either" Johanna said and mom walked over to me

" you haven't been this sick since you were six" she said and I slightly smiled

" has she eaten?"

" no she hasn't, she won't eat" Johanna said and crossed her arms

" Katniss you need to eat, even something small, your throwing up so much"

" why would I eat anything that I'm just gonna throw up?" I asked her very confused

" because it'll help Katniss, I promise" mom said and I nodded and handed me the food that Johanna tried to give me earlier

I ate it slowly so my stomach wouldn't react straight, but I felt it coming and leaned over my bucket

" hey it's ok" Johanna said as she held back my hair

" make it stop" I said and tears rolled down my face, it's been the longest 12 hours of my life.

" I'm sorry baby" Johanna said in my ear kissing my forehead

" I'm gonna try get some medicine ok, Johanna keep an eye on her for me if she gets worse then get me" mom said and Johanna nodded after she left

" my belly" I said and rolled onto my side

" I know Katniss, it's gonna hurt but there's nothing I can do" Johanna said and sat at the end of the bed

" your gonna get sick, stop" I managed to say before I went into a coughing fit

" I don't care, no way I'm leaving alone here" she said and rubbed my shin

" I feel like I'm dying"

" believe me Brainless if you were dying your mother probably would've known and you wouldn't be in here" Johanna said and chuckled

" Miss Everdeen, your needed" that sounded like Coin

" sorry Mockingjay is unavailable until further notice" Johanna said in a sarcastic tone

" well unfortunately she has duties to be fulfilling" She said and Johanna stood off the bed and headed for the door

" unless you want her puking everywhere and passing out I'd suggest waiting until she's better, she deserves a few sick days. Use aren't that mean are use?" Johanna asked leading out the last bit

" well she has stuff to do" Plutarch then said

" Jesus fucking Christ! Excuse my language but what do you expect?! She's just been hit with a really bad stomach bug and flue, find someone else to do her job for a couple days because the Mockingjay needs to rest" Johanna said and I was shocked at the language she used with Coin

" Johanna it's fine I'll do it"

" Get your fucking ass into bed Katniss, you can barely even keep your eyes open" she snapped and I nodded putting my head back down

" whatever, Miss Mason I'd advise you never to use that tone with me again" she said and walked off with her lapdog Plutarch following

" you aren't doing anything for them until you are 100% better, don't even try to protest either because I won't budge" she said and I sat sternly on the ground

" that really makes me hate her more than I already do, from what I can see they haven't given you a break since I came back from the capital" she said and I pouted

" I know, sometimes I've just got do it" I said and she sighed

" just not until you better, you ever tell anyone I've a softer side Brainless I'll kill you" she said and I smiled

" I promise I won't, I wouldn't want them trying to steal you away from me" I said and blushed

" believe me they won't be taking me anywhere"

Somehow Johanna avoided the sickness, I'll never understand because she was sleeping next to me even under my demands. She's to stubborn, we're alike like that. Mom came back with some medicine which made it easier for me to keep some food down, I ended up eating two slices of toast last night and didn't puke it up straight away. That was the first proper meal, if you would even call it in like 12 hours.

I can't wait to get back to training because being sick is so fucking boring, at least I had some company but I want to be able to see other people away, actually mingle with people.

" oh hello gorgeous what do we owe the pleasure?" I sat up and seen Gale in my doorway with Johanna standing in front of him, I haven't seen him since I lost it

" just wanted to see catnip" he said and Johanna stepped aside plopping herself on the metal chairs

" hi" is all I said and he stood awkwardly

" how are you feeling? Your mom told me your were sick" he said and I nodded

" better, how are you?" I asked him

" good, I'm sorry for getting you so riled up the other day" He said and Johanna smirked

" oh that's when you said that me and Katniss thing was an act?" She asked and Gale nodded

" yeah I remember that, you upset Katniss" she said and I shook my head

" Jo leave it" I said and she rolled her eyes

" whatever, you ever make her that upset again I'll kill you"
