I haven't spoken or laid eyes on Carly since that night, Johanna has seen her once or twice but not for long. Living in seven is working out better than I imagined, Johanna is happy because she says that we can be as loud as we want now when having sex, we couldn't do that in thirteen.

I can't say that we don't argue, we are two stubborn people living with each other, of course there's going to be fights. Annie found out she was pregnant two months ago, it broke my heart that Finnick wasn't around to see his daughter or son grow up. I don't blame myself for it most of the time which sends into a slump of depression, Johanna tries to reassure me but when it gets bad I tune out every noise around me.

" Good morning darling, where's Johanna?" Mrs rose asked as she stood at the front door

" she's still in bed" I said and she laughed

" she's always been the lazy type, would you like to come over for some breakfast?" She offered and I accepted smiling

Mrs Roses house is a couple houses down, it's a lovely house still and she keeps a small garden outside her front porch.

" guys I'd like you to meet Katniss, she is Johanna's girlfriend" I had no idea her whole family was going to be here

" hello Katniss it's great to meet you in person" the man said and shook my hand

" hi I'm paisley, these are my daughters. Maria and Maya" Paisley said and one of the girls looked about seventeen and the other ten

" how are you liking seven?" Another women asked who I'd guessed was Anna-June

" it's great, I really like it around here" I said and smiled

" your really pretty" a young girl said to me as she sat by me

" that's Rubie, she's a big fan of you" Vlad said and the girl smiled

" hello Rubie, it's lovely to meet you" I said and hugged her

" it nice to meet you too, Nana said Johanna is happy when you around" she said and Mrs Rose laughed

" and Nana never tells lies" she said and I sent a deep shade red

" how long have you and Johanna been together?" Anna-June asked

" Five months, six months next week" I reply

We all ate breakfast and it was amazing, She had these delicious pancakes and eggs I could eat them for the rest of my life no lie.

" Katniss was just meeting everyone, wanted to invite you both over but someone still hasn't grown out of their teenager ways" Mrs rose said and I chuckled

" I just love my sleep, everyone seems to like her" Johanna said referring to me

" what's there not to like?" Rubie said and leaned against my arm

" I've made a new best friend" i said and her face lite up

" you hear that daddy! Katniss is my best friend!" She said and smiled ear from ear

" hey don't you be stealing her from me!" Johanna said jokingly

" don't worry I won't, we'll maybe only sometimes" she said and I shrugged

" sounds like a plan"

" would you like kids Katniss?" Paisley asked

"I always said I didn't because of the world we lived in, but now since everything has changed for the better I wouldn't mind having babies. I'm already used to caring for a child" I said referring to Prim

"I would like kids, I just wouldn't want to carry them. I'll let Brainless have that job" she said and I nodded not minding at all

" I always said I didn't want kids when i was younger, but as soon as my oldest was born I realised how amazing it is to have a baby" Paisley said and smiled and her children

" whenever you decide to have kids, I'm a qualified midwife so I can deliver your baby if ever need" Anna-June said and I smiled at the selfless gesture

" I'll keep that in mind thank you"

" that was really nice of them having us over, such a kind family" I said smiled as I hung up my jacket

" is it bad that I really want a baby now?" Johanna asked out of the blue

" no why would that me weird? Straight couples say that to each all the time" I said trying to reassure her

" you know in the capital they can allow to women to have a baby instead of having a man help" I didn't know that actually

" so they can create a baby that's both of ours?" I asked and she nodded

" they inject something into my egg which will the allow them chance of a baby boy, they mix our eggs and hopefully a baby begins to grow" she said and I smiled

" is it expensive?" I asked and she shrugged

" I would say so, but we have enough money to cover it so there's no need to worry about to. Everything will be covered I promise"

" I never imagined myself ever having this conversation but, god this just feels unreal, you are somebody I want to spend the rest of my life with, having a baby that is yours will make me love us even more" I said and she moved closer to me

" wanna go make a baby?" She asked smirking

" yes, let's have a baby"
