" Katniss you have to for him!" Haymitch yelled as he stood in my room where Johanna was on the bed and I was at the table

" what about me? I don't want to" I said and crossed my arms

" this isn't about you Katniss, this is for him. He's seen the video of you being shot and he wants to see you, you'll be safe" Haymitch said and I sighed

" if it helps getting Peeta back to how he was I'd say you do it" Johanna said which shocked me

" what?" I said and she shrugged

" never really been fond of bread boy but when you have your rooms next to each other in the capital, you realise that help is always good" she said and rubbed my back

" fine I'll do it" I said and Haymitch smiled

" good it'll be good for him"

I kissed Johanna behind and headed out the door with Haymitch, walking beside me. My nerves began to pick up when we arrived to his hospital ward.

" hello my girl" Effie said as I was into the ward

" hello effie" I said and hugged her

" how is everything with Johanna?" She asked and I smiled

" prefect, everything is prefect" I said and she smiled

" you deserve happiness my girl" she said and I nodded

" he's seen the video of you being shot, and I know he was out in the cafeteria and didn't speak to you this is why we want you here" Plutarch said and I just nodded staring into the one way glass at Peeta

" send her in" they said and I walked through the guarded white door

" you look terrible" he said and my breath began to pick up

" you've looked better yourself"

" I watched you die, must be a ghost in front of me here" he said and played with the inside of my fingers

" I guess I got lucky" I said and he laughed

" I'll never understand the reason for everyone trying to fucking save you!" He snapped and eyes shot towards him

" my plan the whole time was to get you out of the arena, not me" I said and he laughed

" lying doesn't suit you, don't you think you've lied to me enough? One saying your in love with me then going and FUCKING JOHANNA MASON!"

" FUCKING FREAK! GET OUT! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" He began to trash around the bed and I banged on the door to let me out

" Katniss this isn't him"

" don't touch me!" I yelled and walked off

I felt my breathing speed up and I felt a panic attack coming on, my throat felt as if it was closing up. I couldn't go back to Johanna in this state so I went were I would usually go when I had a panic attack or a nightmare before I went to Johanna.

I'll probably get in a lot of trouble being here but I weirdly get a lot of comfort out of it. I cuddled myself in behind some pipes trying to control my breathing

" my name is Katniss Everdeen, I'm from district 12" my breath kept getting stuck in my throat I couldn't even finish that simple sentence

It felt like I was sitting there for years in my own thoughts , I still haven't calmed down properly, my breathing is still all over the place.

" Katniss!" I heard Finnick call

" Katniss, baby where are you?!" Johanna sounded concerned but this only caused me to snuggle deeper into the pipes

" Katniss!" Johanna called again I couldn't help but let out a little whimper

They must've heard it because I heard quick footsteps running towards me, I curled my legs tighter into my body placing my head in my legs.

" hey baby, what are you doing down here?" Johanna asked in a quiet tone

" we where worried Katniss, thought we lost you" Finnick said and I slowly raised my head.

" you wanna tell me what happened?" Johanna asked getting closer to me

" Peeta knows" is all I said I tightened my grip on my legs

" he knows what?" Finnick asked

" about me and Johanna, he wants me dead" i said Johanna's breath hitched

" I won't let him touch you Katniss" she said and tried to place her hand on me but I swatted her away

" come on you can't be down here" finnick said sternly and I shook my head

" Katniss seriously, coin is going to freak out" he said I continued to ignore him

" go Finnick, I'll stay with her" Johanna said and Finnick sighed and walked away

" it's just us two Katniss, you wanna talk to me properly?" She asked and I nodded slowly

" ok tell me what happened" she said and I realised my legs

" I went in and he said he seen me die, he said he never understood the reason why people were always trying to save me. I told him that I want him out of that arena over me but he didn't believe me, he told me that lying doesn't suit me and that I've lied to him enough, he freaked out saying that I faked my love and how I'm fucking you" I said and Johanna pulled me closer ignoring how I swatted her away last time

" he's not gonna touch you, not on my watch. He was gonna find out about us sooner or later anyway, probably not the best time for him but everything will be fine" she said and hugged me
