Today is the day that I leave, I've to leave Johanna behind, something that I didn't want to do. But I couldn't stay here, she wouldn't let me. She's probably resent me if I did.

" come here" she said and hugged tightly

" you look like a proper lesbian with your hair like that" she said as my hair was in a low ponytail

" give me a kiss" I said and connected our lips like it was the last time we'll ever kiss

" if you're having a nightmare, prim is here and she said she'll help" I said and she nodded

" don't worry about me brainless, just go and kill that son of a bitch" she said and I smiled

" don't die I can't loose you Brainless" she said and leaned her forehead on my chin

" I'll see you soon"

I waved and kissed goodbye and headed to where we were going to be taking off. I can't lie and say that I wasn't nervous but I've gotta push my nerves aside. I have to focus on what I'm here to do and who I've to come home to.

" squad 451 come and meet your squad members" Boggs said and me and Gale followed

" my name is lieutenant Jackson, this is corporal homes, leeg one and two and Mitchell" Jackson said and that wasn't including the camera crew or Finnick

" we will move a few blocks a day, get some shots and then set up camp" Boggs said and everyone nodded and followed after Jackson and Boggs

We walked a couple blocks and found where we were going to be staying, the building was destroyed so it wouldn't be under any threat.

" get comfy, this is us for the night" Boggs said and everybody went to their spots and I headed over to Finnick

" hey Katniss, how was Johanna? I didn't get to see her before we left?" He asked me

" she told me not to worry about her as usual, she seemed nervous though. I'd be nervous if she was coming here and I wasn't" I said and Finnick smiled

" it's nice to see her care about someone this much" he said and I smiled

" it would've been nice having her here, but if she was here all I would be worrying about would be her safety. Every move that I would make I'd be seeing if she was ok" I said and Finnick tilted his head

" that's a good thing, just not out here. As much as you would want to protect her you've gotta save yourself before you even try to save them" he said and I agreed with his logic i some sense

" if Annie was here I'd be a paranoid mess, we would both be. Trying to keep them safe and out of harms way and not realising that you are pushing yourself deeper and deeper into danger" he said and I sighed

" I'm just worried incase she has a nightmare, we've been sleeping in the same bed for nearly two months and she's maybe had four nightmares. Prim said she'll look after her but she won't be able to calm her down, once I was barely even able to calm her. All this stuff just runs through my head" I said and played with my necklace that she got me

" your going to freak yourself out Katniss, believe I'm panicked but we can't let that effect us when we're basically taking part in the 76th hunger games" he said and I nodded sitting up straight

" when this is all over we are going to be able to hug them in a free world"

Couple hours went by, some people were catching up on sleep and some were eating. I haven't slept yet, I can't. I think it's the fear of having an nightmare that puts me off.
