It's the next morning and I'm still pissed at Johanna. I heard her come to bed last night and the two of them by the sounds of it were pretty drunk. She'll probably wake up and forget everything that happened, but luckily for her I remember.

I got out of the bed and didn't wake her, I headed down to the kitchen where she thankfully had coffee, it doesn't bother in the slightest that she has a friend obviously, what bothered me was the fact that she was rude and Johanna stood there like nothing happened.

" mornin" she mumbled and I ignored her

" I said good morning" she said again

" morning" I said and she groaned

" what's up with you?" She said and sat across from me

" take a guess" I said and crossed my arms

" when it comes to you I haven't a clue"

" ok then, for one you stood and let your friend be rude to me and you didn't say anything to stop her, secondly you come home without the food that you promised and you were also drunk, you drank all night and again probably didn't care that I was upstairs!" I snapped finishing the end of my coffee

" sorry I haven't seen my friend in months!" She snapped back and I rolled my eyes

" I don't care if you see your friends Jo, but a heads up when your going to be out for two hours would be nice!"

" your the one who left!" She said and laughed

" I was stood there like a freak as you two chatted, not even taking notice that I was there! I'm going to the market and the get food you were supposed to get before we starve" I said and threw on my shoes before storming out of the house

I walked towards the marker in a huff and grabbed a basket, I wasn't sure what to get but all I know is that I'm hungry.

" hi, how much?" I asked as I held up a bunch of Apples

" for you girl on fire, it's free" the women said and I shook my head

" no please let me pay" I said and grabbed my money handing her some

" thank you"

I grabbed all the food that we needed and headed home to Johanna, when u arrived she was passed out on the sofa probably trying to recover from her hangover.

I took out the meat that I bought and began to fry in on a pan along with some potatoes. I'm actually a really good cook, when dad died I had to take over the cooking role but prim always said that my food was so good.

" hey" she said as she stood at the door frame

" I'm sorry about yesterday, I know I should've told you I wouldn't be back that was mean. I just got so excited because I haven't seen Carly in forever" she said and I looked at her

" I know, I guess I was just upset because it was my first night here. I just wanted to spend the night with you but it's ok" I said and stirred the potatoes

" do you forgive me?" She said asked and I nodded. She walked over and hugged me from behind as I continued to stir

" Carly invited us over for dinner tonight" she said and I rolled my eyes listen

" and if she's rude we will leave straight away" she said and I nodded turning around and kissing her

" holy shit brainless! This looks delicious" she said and I smirked

" I'm not just a pretty face Mason"

The evening rolled around and I was nervous to say the least, I didn't want Johanna to lose a friendship over her being fucking rude, I understand why she's probably pissed off at me. Most people didn't like the mockingjay, nether did I to be honest.

" do I look ok?" I asked as I finished braiding my hair

" you always look good, come on we are going to be late" she said and I followed her out of the house

We walked towards her home and it was a decent size, about double of my home in twelve before the victors house, it was brown bricked and have a navy front door.

" hey guys come on in" she said and held open the door for us

" nice place Carly? When did you get this?" Johanna asked

" after you left for the quarter quell, house was on offer so I grabbed it before anyone else would" she said and smiled proudly

" so come on dinners almost ready" she said and we went to her small kitchen table

" so when did you and Lucy end things?" Johanna asked and I looked at her not knowing Carly was a lesbian, which made the jealousy spike up in me

" two months ago, she said the sex got boring but my sex never gets boring" she said and Johanna laughed, I let out a light snicker

" so Everdeen tell me, how's the sex with Johanna?" She asked and my eyes popped

" it's good, wouldn't say I've ever been bored of it" I said and she smirked

" you always said you like her, didn't know you'd actually fuck her" Carly said and I went a deep shade of red

" well no need to go into full details Carly" Johanna said and Carly shook her head

" I'm just telling the truth, thought you were going to kill each in the quell though, Johanna looked like she was doing to murder you Everdeen" she said and I looked at Johanna

" I had to act like I hated her so the revolution plan went ahead" Johanna said and placed a hand on my inner thigh

" oh yeah that whole plan, you are taken by the Capital weren't you Jo, how did that feel Everdeen? Knowing she was being tortured and you were save in district 13?" She asked and my chest felt tightened

" Carly don-"

" let me speak Johanna, you weren't exactly in a rush to save them were you? Of course not you were too focused on yourself as per usual"

" you weren't any fucking help either! Hiding in your district like a fucking coward while I fought the main battles, I wanted them out of there as soon as I arrived! You would just rather sit back and relax seeing snow die, well I nearly fucking died doing so before you go ahead and start making a load of assumptions think about it" I spat not diverting eye contact

" i could replace you in two seconds" she said and I laughed

" oh really? Because Johanna never mentioned your name ever before, don't think your that special"
