Chapter 52: Rehearsal

It has been over 3 weeks since Norman and Ray planned their wedding! Ray decided on all of them practicing 3 times just to get it right. The wedding was happening next week! Jemima and Phil came the day before rehearsal.

"I can't believe you're getting married to Normán! Does that mean you're gonna become a celebrity too?" Jemima asked full of happiness

"Hahaha, I believe so. Is that true?" Ray said chuckling and looking at Norman

"Precisely. If you want to be a celebrity if you want." Norman said winking

"Then I'll be a celebrity. Besides, you get a lot of things."

"Alrighty! Chop chop!! We have 4 days until the wedding! We don't want to make an embarrassment to all over New North!" Emma said clapping her hands like a boss

"Wait! Babe, you never told me this is going to be on TV!" Ray said sweating and looking at Norman

"Relax, relax. Others around the world might want to see. I'm very popular you know." Norman said smiling patiently.

"Yes I know but I get scared easily...!" Ray said folding his arms and blushing.

"You'll be fine.~ Especially when I'm around. Now let's practice this." Norman said kissing Ray's cheek and going to Emma's area

The first thing they started with was Winnie playing the violin of that wedding song that they play.

(not the traditional one, it's this certain one that ive heard when ever i go to a wedding lol i cant remember but its like that what they're playing 🤧)

Since they didn't bring flower petals this time because it's rehearsal, they used leaves from outside. All the bridesmaids and groomsmen were the first to come. Emma almost tripped.

"Emma! You need to be careful. This is why he have rehearsal before the big day." Norman said sighing.

"Oops! Sorry! I'll do better I promise! I'm just not that great with heels." Emma said apologizing.

After that, Jemima was the first to come throwing the leaves one by one. After that, Phil came smiling whiles holding a pillow that didn't have rings (only for that time)

Then it was time for Ray to walk down the aisle. He thought holding a bouquet would be too tacky, so he held his hands.

"May we please rise up in respect for the groom." Winnie said smiling big. They had the violin in their hands

As the music started to play, Ray walking gracefully on the isle. There were only 6 friends that were there. The rest planned on coming on the day of the wedding.

Even with a small amount of people, Ray had butterflies in his stomach.

He met with Norman and Norman took his hands

"Oh Ray..." He spoke smiling

"Oh Norman..." Ray spoke

"Aaaanddd... We're done!" Emma said smiling and clapping

Norman and Ray looked at her like she was psycho

"W-What?! That's it?" Norman stuttered

"Mhm! We'll meet here tomorrow and the next day!"

"I thought we were going to go over our quotes!" Norman said raising an eyebrow

"Yeahhh! And the kiss!" Phil said with excitement

"Yeah! Kiss!!" Jemima said jumping up and down

"Don't worry! You will see Norman and Ray kiss on the wedding." Emma said

"Do we have to wait...???" Phil Whined

"Yes, yes now-" Emma said but was interrupted by Norman dipping Ray and kissing him deep

Jemima and Phil scream like never before

Emma's face was shocked. "You guys could've waited!"

"Don't care! I love children and want them to be satisfied. Now, we will practice again tomorrow. Phil, Jemima..Feeling better now?"

"Yes yesss!!" They both scream with happiness

"The fact that you did this now with confidence. Hmph, what do you even plan for our honeymoon?" Ray asked

"Ohhh you'll see, my dear.~ I made sure to get myself an outfit that will spice things up!" Norman said smirking and sashaying away.

Ray immediately blushed at what he said.

"Oooohhhh~" Emma said elbowing Ray

"D-D-Did you hear all of that?!" Ray yelped

"Mmmhmm~ He said he's going to get an outfit to spice things up in the bedroom for the honeymoon~! Good luck walking after that! I'll make sure to bring you a wheelchair!" Emma said winking

"Emma!! Shush!!" Ray said chasing her

Emma just laughed and ran while getting chased by Ray.
