"Hey, are we there yet?" Echoed Sentience in an annoying voice across Dio' head.
"We'll be there when you stop talking." Dio replied as he surveyed the surrounding land upon him, which wasn't too different from what he had already seen.
Which was essentially all snow, nothing else.
"Is there a-way you could bring us to another location with your abilities?"
"I mean, not really..."
"What do you mean 'not really?' If you could bring us to this cold hell, than I suppose you can do it again and bring us to the urban streets of wherever is closest to us."
"So, uh... Here's the funny thing, I can actually do that I think around like; once a-"
"Day/Day. Woah, nice syncing!"
"Is there any other thing you can do, because in the situation we're in-". Dio stopped to gaze at the upcoming hail and to feel the sensations that came with it, "rather than scream in my head?"
"Not really-"
"As I suspected."
"-but I can do some cool tricks to entertain you, if you decide to enter my domain." Sentience said as Dio simply sighed while continuing to walk across the various broken branches and dead trees which had fallen due to the cold weather.
"These 'cool tricks' aren't going to help me in this scenario."
"Well, if you want help; how about you call for it?"
"I am not going to submit my pride just to scream 'help' out, and get nothing out of it."
"Hey, you never know who might come out of the woods to help you."
"We aren't in the woods, hrgh!-" Dio said as he started pushing a large, 5 foot log blocking his path with his bare hands, which began to rough them up bit. "We're in a tundra, and the only thing I can see with my eye in more snow."
"Sure, you might be right about that fact; but you can never let a possibility escape you - even if it is very slim."
"There is no possibility here that is escaping me, rather it is the pure lack of escape out of this foreign land which is causing me problems, and it seems to only be getting worse and worse as time flies by." Dio said to Sentience as he peered out once more into the greater world, soaking in all the sights of snow and more snow, and even more snow.
Truly, this seemed like an unescapable situation in all its forms.
Dio could barely feel his hands anymore, he legs were motionless at some points and yet he still kept going, and the worst part about it was the fact that he might have to call for help and sacrifice his overarching pride.
It was something he'd rather not do, because Dio was a man who did not need help to succeed in what he wanted to succeed in.
He desired to do all things by himself, but the Joestar's had limited that in his previous 'world'.
But this world didn't have a single Joestar in sight, yet he was still barely able to scrape by because of the change he had undergone from vampire to human.
Sure, he may no longer die by exposure to the rays of the sun, but his physical ability had become what was once limitless to only slightly above professional.
With all of these limitations which had been inflicted to his body, it was clear that he had a very low chance of making it out of here alive without any help.
However, Dio would never surrender so easily; he would not back down.
Call it stubborn, but he didn't care.
He was going to make it through alone.
"You know, this whole thing of 'making it out by yourself' is going to be really bad for the future."
"I don't care." Dio said as snow follicles began to adorn his hair once more, causing him to grasp his luscious locks and flick them back to get the snow off.
"You really should."
"I'll find a way eventually, there's always something out to help me in the most desperate of situations."
"Well, good luck with that I guess." Sentience said as she began humming a tune softly.
Safe to say, she would most likely be doing that for the next 5 hours.
Because even if Dio sounded confidant, he had very little information on where to go.
