Soon 4:30 came and Rory leaned her head on the window "we really have to take one car?" Jess questioned

"Yes because if one of us gets sick or something, we all got to go" Luke stated

"Come on we are like the Brady bunch!" Lorelai joked

"Never ever say that again" Rory groaned

"Not so sun shiney over there is it kid?" She looked to her daughter that Jess and April were staring at. Her face was glued to the window in which she was using as some type of pillow with her eyes closed

"You car sick hon?" She nodded and Jess shifted her head onto his shoulder

"Surprised you still got this jeep?" Jess said

"Surprised you actually got into this jeep" Lorelai replied "I'm actually quite surprised myself" he said

They settled down more and Rory fell asleep on Jess's shoulder. He smiled as he looked at her, even in her sleep she was adorable

"Dad can you turn on the music" April questioned

"Hey do you still got that Reggae Fever CD!" Lorelai asked enthusiastically

"You had a reggae fever CD?" Jess questioned him

"It was Luke's dark era... he was so lost without me" Lorelai said dramatically and Luke rolled his eyes

"No I will not be turning on the radio, plus Rory's asleep I don't want to wake her"

"We will be there in 10 minutes?" Lorelai said

"Don't give me a count down" Luke sighed

"Thanks for the warning" Jess said softly as he kept his eyes on Rory which didn't go unnoticed by Lorelai

The car engine stopped and nobody wanted to exit the vehicle "okay well if nobody's gonna get out" April opened the door and Lorelai sighed

"She set it in motion, I blame her!" Lorelai said and Rory woke up "you blame who for what"

"April, she opened the car door which Emily Gilmore could've heard which ruins or chances of fleeing before hand" Rory opened the car door and stepped out fixing her hair and clothes

"Ready to go enter the gates of hell" Lorelai said with a smile "mom that is so mean" Rory added

"Hey you were the one so determined to have one last thanksgiving here!" Lorelai said and Rory went to the front door knocking on it

The door opened to Emily "well you've got yourself a whole dinner party" she said surprised

"Emily I did tell you Jess and April were coming" Luke said "I called you, we had a conversation"

"I remember, just didn't remember so many of you... well come in, come in" she smiled as Rory walked in

"Oh Rory darling so good to see you" she kissed her cheek and Berta took her coat "you must come visit me in Nantucket soon, you'll absolutely love my place"

"I'll be there for Christmas" Rory reminded her "I promised you Christmas, things have just been a bit busy"

"Oh you must update me on everything that's been going on in your life, do you still have that boyfriend" they walked into the den

"Nah she ditched him to the streets ma!" Lorelai said and they entered the den

The house was basically empty which made Rory feel unsettled. The pictures by the mantle were gone. The drink cart wasn't in its place and there was no rug on the ground. Just the classic couches
