It was here, the date in which Rory couldn't wait for June 18th. It was Father's Day and officially one day past her due date the 17th.

She laid in bed staring at Logan while he slept soundly. In her mind she was trying to convince herself their baby would decide to come today just because it was her due date. But she knew that's not how it worked

She ran her fingers around her bump. It wasn't too big but she felt like a whale. But the past few weeks she'd felt achey and impatient.

She looked to see Logan slowly waking up opening his eyes "Happy Father's Day" she whispered "though she's being stubborn and won't just come yet" a smile crept to his face and he sat up in bed

"Thank you Ace" he kissed her bump and placing his hand it "how are you feeling"

"Impatient, I don't want to be 60 weeks pregnant anymore please?" He chuckled softly and she threw a pillow at him "not funny if you were me you'd be complaining also" her phone buzzed and she looked at it with a smile

"Breakfast is done" she said and he looked to her confused "private chef came in and made an English breakfast for you plus cinnamon buns and fresh fruit" he sat up taking her in for a kiss

"Breakfast? You got me a chef for breakfast, how did he get in?"

"I woke up at the hour of 4 in the am, which I forgot existed until these past few months and I got out of bed and unlocked the front door. You slept nice and soundly" she ran her fingers through his hair

"Sorry she's not here to celebrate, she's deciding to push me towards 40 weeks"

"Stubborn like her mother"

"Rude!" She slipped out of bed slipping her feet into her slippers "after the kindness I've just done for you" he exited bed

"The house does smell good" he entered the bathroom "thank you Ace"

"Thank Brian, I didn't do the cooking" he nodded

After she fixed her hair leaving her comfortable pajamas on she left their room to see the room to the door open. On the wall was 3D paper butterflies and Logan standing in the room looking around

Their little girls nursery was cream colored with lilac and light pink accents around the room. He was seated in the bay window that looked out at the street as the rain came down.

"I feel like I find you in this room more than myself" he looked over "I'm nesting" he joked

"Hey you can nest, I can't stop. This room just pulls me in and I find myself refolding clothes over and over and you should be happy I'm unable to rearrange furniture. Because I would've done it 500 times for no reason" he stood taking her hand

"Then let's get breakfast before you make me do it"

"Deal Huntzberger"

They went downstairs where a note was left from the chef and a display of food arranged perfectly "I knew you could boil pasta but I didn't know I had such a chef for a wife" he teased and she rolled her eyes as he placed down the note

"Thank you Ace" he kissed her

"Just incase you were getting a little home sick, decided an English breakfast would go best and.... Since unfortunately I am literally a gazillion weeks pregnant and my physical capabilities are lacking" she handed him the dvd to pulp fiction and he smiled

"I really did marry a good woman didn't I?" She shrugged "rainy day calls for some Tarantino and the old fashion way, got my DVD player for you"

"This isn't even the true old fashioned way"
