Chapter Six

It's been a couple days since my body started to cool down from the pre-heat and now all that's left is the actual heat that will come when I am ready to have kids. Hopefully, that won't be too bad of a time when me and Jax actually get there. Putting on my shoes Doctor Sun came in with his tools to check me one last time before I'm able to be officially done with this pre-heat.

"How are you, Gipsy?" he glanced up towards my eyes while he was checking my pulse.

"Fine, I guess. Do you have a rough estimate when my actual heat is supposed to come?"

He sat there and pondered, "I mean, it's different for everyone. It takes a little bit of time.. your pre-heat wasn't too terribly long so I'd guess it's probably coming in about two weeks? Three at most." sighing in disappointment I guess it was time to face reality. I am an Alpha's mate now, I don't really have a choice. Although the thought of bearing his children is enough to make me wet; Jesus Christ what's wrong with me?

"You'll be okay, Gipsy. Hopefully, you're able to bear children if you want them." the doctor shrugged his shoulders.

Nodding my head he took that as his cue to leave, lingering by the door he looked at me, "You're free to go now. I think they're enjoying the day outside if you so wish to go out there and run around. Let you wolf run free."

Kaiya was pacing in my mind constantly these past couple of days from meeting Jax and being pent up inside this room. Standing up I put on some simple clothes and decided to head outside and see what everyone was going on about. Finding my way to the backyard I saw most of everyone in their wolf form with some chatting it up by the grill. Interesting mix we have going on outside. Delilah ran up to me grabbing my arm and I smiled at her.

"What's up pretty lady?" I asked her.

"Nothing much, I found my mate!" she jumped with excitement. My eyes grew a size and I smiled congratulating her. But the question is, why isn't she in her pre-heat yet? "I feel like you have a question for me, and it is about my pre-heat, yes? Well..." she leaned close to my ear, "we've already had sex."

"Delilah! On the first day?"

"Gipsy, you had sex with Blake on the first day here." she rolled her eyes at me. 

Putting up a finger to contradict her, I realized I didn't have anything to say against that. Damn... she guided me to where some people were talking with each other, "Gipsy, this is Beta Ky and Ky this is Gipsy." she introduced us to each other and I shook his hand.

"It's nice to meet you, Ky. Just so you know, you break her heart and I'll kill you," I smiled at him and he chuckled back at me.

"Trust me, she's not going anywhere. She's going to have my pups soon enough." he eyed her belly and Delilah hit his arm gently while shooshing him. Shaking my head I excused myself saying I need to go stretch my wolf needs.

Going to a secluded area away from prying eyes I summoned Kaiya to come forward and she gladly took control of the situation. Shifting into my wolf she sighed in content with a big yawn that seemed to last forever. Walking around she started to sniff everything we came across and while she was distracted another wolf that was slightly bigger than my own bumped into us. Snarling we whipped our head around to the wolf who did that, and lo and behold it was Jax. His icy blue eyes ran over my wolf form then pierced my green ones in a way that made me slightly uneasy. Shifting around we started to walk away.

Jax snorted and stopped us from going anywhere as he herded us back to him. Whining we got smaller to show him we aren't much of a threat and licked his lower jaw and he hummed in response. Wagging our tail we trotted away with our tail higher and soon that trot became a full run as Jax chased us. Soon he bumped into us causing us to roll into a big puddle of water getting us all dirty. Shaking our head we snorted at him and went back to the mansion, in wolf form we trotted back to our room with other people opening doors for us. Looking back at our muddy footprints I did feel bad to whoever had to clean that up but I was dirty and in need of a shower. 

Changing back to my human form I felt Kaiya whine as she wanted to explore more, but honestly I wanted to shower and get ready for what was to come later. Jax came in not long after I got done and pulled me close towards his body, "Vex loves your wolf. He says she's very pretty, much like ours."

Chuckling I breathed in Jax's scent, "Kaiya loves yours too. She whined whenever we were leaving you two behind."

Jax breathed in my scent as he gripped my waist, "You're so beautiful, Gipsy. My belle femme."

Creasing my eyebrows together, now I regret not taking French, "My beautiful woman, is what I called you. I won't speak much French to you."

"I met Beta Ky today, he seemed nice. He already impregnated Delilah."

Shaking his head, Jax took some of my belly and squeezed it with love, "It'll be your turn soon, belle."

Snorting I shook my head, "I'm okay for now. I'll wait a bit longer. Oh, I never asked, where is your pack?"

"Ah, yeah...mine is here in Paris."

Staring at him it took my brain a second to process the words, "Wait, your pack is here in Paris? So you're part of the Founders?"

Laughing nervously, "My pack is the Founder. The one that started the whole big ass club."

Letting Jax go, I'm not ready to move away from Washington and my family, "Jax, I have to go," leaving him behind wasn't probably the best idea, but I need to go back home. I need to say my goodbyes and prepare for a life somewhere not in Washington or even in America.
