Chapter Thirty

Blinking my eyes, trying to clear the blurry vision that surrounded my eyes I hummed. My tongue darted out to my chapped lips and I sighed looking around for some water. Zoning in on the glass I grabbed it and started to chug until it was empty. Humming softly I reached for my belly. Gone. My eyes went wide as I looked down towards my once pregnant belly, that has now gone down ever so slightly, void of his presence. Where is he? Where is Aaron? Panicking I sat up and tried to find my beeper for the nurses. C'mon, c'mon, c'mon! I beeped relentlessly on the remote, my heart thudding in my chest.

The door opened to reveal a younger woman, who smelled quite pungently might I add, must be a vampire, "Glad to see you're awake! I will get the Doctor and your husband."

We aren't even married, yet? Nodding my head towards her I looked around the room for any signs of Aaron even being in here. Not one.

Sun and Jax both came into the room, including a man I have never seen before, but he looked very important, "Gipsy! Oh thank God you're awake," Jax came and wrapped me in his arms before kissing my cheek.

"O-oh yeah. Um, what happened?"

"Aaron is fine. The nurses are taking care of him right now, and you passed out for a little while."

"How long is a little while? And why do I feel so... so... normal?"

Jax looked at the olive-skinned man and he smiled softly, "Well, love, we'll talk about this a little later when you're feeling one hundred percent."

"I feel, quote, 'one hundred percent', now fucking tell me what happened while I was passed out, Jax."

The man chuckled and put his hands up to Jax, he looked at me with his very blue eyes, "Ma'am, my name is Caspian, also known as the Great White for the stories."

My eyes widened at the name and I apologized profusely, "I'm so sorry for my behavior."

"Oh, no you're quite alright. It was pretty funny after-all, now, Jax informed me of your predicament and I must say I have never seen such a strong woman. Your son is also very strong as well, must get it from you."

I smiled at him, he has got some great manners, "Well, thank you. I'm guessing Jax convinced you of my condition?"

Jax's hold tightened on me ever so slightly and I creased my eyebrows to look up at him, "What am I missing, Jax?"

"Well, amor, there were some complications."

"What kind of complications?" my voice was starting to grow frustrated as he tried to find his words. I could feel my face growing hot as he sighed out heavily.

"I had to agree for our next child to be the Great White, he needs an heir."

I looked between the both of them, before facing Caspian, "You couldn't find your own fucking heir? Your own mate, for crying out loud?"

He chuckled, the motherfucker chuckled, "Miss, it is rare for us to even get mates. Let alone be able to take time to create offspring and raise them to their full potential. It is what happened to me after-all. My mother had to leave me with this pack in the middle of nowhere for me to be raised and be safe. I'm choosing the most safest option right now."

I huffed and looked away from them, "Fine, whatever, I guess. I want out of here."

Doctor Sun smiled and clasped his hands together, "Wonderful, now you can most certainly go, but Aaron needs to be cleansed with this man's blood, and while I am sure you two are perfectly qualified, all of us have decided that he should stay down here until he is cleansed."
