Absofacto - Dissolve
"Hate it." I shook my head at the dress Sasha presented to me.
"You're picky." She laughed.
"I'm not! It's just ugly." I assured.
"Okay, but this would look so hot on y — "
"Hate it." I shook my head again.
"Holy shit." Sasha groaned in frustration.
"The boys are gonna show up in manbuns and sweatpants, aren't they? Why can't we?" I argued.
"You really haven't been to a party in a long time, huh?" Sasha chuckled.
"Shut up." I mumbled embarrassedly.
"You can bet your fine ass that everyone is going all out tonight." She said, "It's the first party Jean has hosted in a while."
"So?" I shrugged.
"So?" Sasha held up another dress to my body, "It's a Jean party — you'll understand what I mean when we get there."
"Alright, fine." I rolled my eyes.
Sasha discarded the dress after scrunching her nose in disapproval.
Suddenly, her eyes lit up and she took off like a jet to another rack of dresses.
"Look at this sweet baby." She moaned as if the dress itself was turning her on.
"Oh, wow." I blinked at it.
A black satin dress. Strappy. Definitely too cold for this weather.
"No protesting — " Sasha raised a finger, "just try it on."
She grabbed my hand and led me to the dressing room. I was comfortable enough to undress in front of Sasha, and so I did just that — and slipped the dress on.
"It's kinda small..." I frowned as i tugged it down my thighs.
"Yes!" Sasha squealed.
"And it'll be too cold." I added.
"It's not that cold — you'll survive." She patted my shoulder.
"I'm suing you if I get hypothermia." I joked.
Yes, I purchased that stupid dress.
It was an investment.

I was in Sasha's dorm room.
She flicked a makeup brush against my cheek like she was casting a spell with a wand.
Sasha was the type to arrive fashionably late to a party, so she told me not to worry about how much time we were taking.
"Make a kissy face." She pulled away from my face to scrutinize her work.
I puckered my lips.
They felt significantly softer after all that pampering they received.
"Aaand I'm gay." She giggled.
