XIV- HER DECISION

IRENES POV

One week nalang at aalis  na si Aimee papuntang California. And I am not wasting any of my time to convince Livy to just stay with me.

Kahit abotin ako ng madaling araw sa paghihintay sa kanya sa labas ng condo ni Aimee.Yes Livy is there, she'll be staying there for good muna.

I understand that she needs place to breathe in. I'm currently driving on my way to Aimee's condo to see my daughter... Hindi ako natagalan kasi wala namang traffic.

Dali dali akong pumunta sa floor kung saan ang condo ni Aimee... 'ding dong' it took a while before she was able to open the door for me...

"I'm sorry Ate nahirapan kasi akong patahanin si Livy, shes having a bad dream... she keeps on calling your name. pasok ka Ate" she said and gave me a beso. I smiled secretly,nasa puso't isip parin ako ni Livy...

Dumeritso ako sa kwarto to see her.. she's sleeping peacefully pero bakas sa mga mata nya na umiyak sya... I sighed and came closer to give her a kiss. I tore up realizing kung paano ko sya napabayaan...

Hindi ko sya nasubaybayan paano sya naging isang ganap na dalaga. Hindi ko nakita kung paano nya na achieve ang lahat lahat. Is this how anger ate my whole being? ...I heard groaned. Nagising ko ba sya?

Kaya lumakad na muna ako papunta sa direksyon ni Aimee. She handed me a cup of coffee. I sat and said "Aimee? Is their any possibility na I can come with you?"  I asked sipping the coffee she made.

"Ate kung ako ang tatanongin, okay lang sakin kahit dun kapa mag stay sa apartment ko. But I am dead concern about how Livy will react." She explained sweetly flashing that sweet and concern smile.

Aimee is somehow right. "I don't want her to think na wala na syang mapagkakatiwalaan. I'm really sorry Ate but I need to prioritize and respect Livy's decision...." She uttered...

I swallowed a lump a I stood up and go to Livy's direction... I think this will be the last time that I'm gonna see her. I sat next to her and caressed her cheeks,tucked some of her hair that's covering her face. As a tear fell into my eyes.

"My Olivia, I'm sorry if I placed you into this situation, Mommy is really sorry... I want you to wear this locket as your amulet, that serves as myself. Wherever you go atleast you have me in your heart... I know that its impossible but Mommy will always wait for your come back. I love you my OLIVIA" I whispered as I gently kissed her forehead at marahan na ikinabit sa kanyang leeg ang kwintas...

I hugged her and smelled her scent for the last time. Aimee rubbed my back and hugged me as well. I fixed myself and act as if nothing happened...

I pull myself together as I bid my goodbye to Aimee and drove my way home... I arrived 10:30 in the evening the trip is smooth since wala namang traffic. Agad akong pumasok sa bahay at dumiretso sa kusina...

I think Greggy is here, he stayed because he thought that I could bring Livy tonight...

I picked up my favorite wine glass and grabbed a bottle of wine. I also brought finger foods. Inilapag ko ang dala ko sa gilid ng pool at ibinabad ang paa ko sa malamig na tubig..

I cant imagine that the family we built will have each others path... Hindi ko lubos maisip na magkakawatak watak kami dahil sa akin.. I poured a glass full of wine.

At walang pakandungan na nilagok ito. I just wish I could turn back the time and make my decisions right...

Tears started to flow like river. Sa laki ba naman ng bahay na ito Hindi ko aakalain na sa huli ako nalang ang titira mag isa.. This house used to be happy before. This house was once full of laughters that sounds like music into my ears...

~~~FLASHBACK~~~
Loud voices occupied my eardrums as I woke up... I can hear Livy giggling while Oying is laughing so hard... pinagtatawanan na naman nila si Greggy..

"Dad look oh!! Theres a chocolate syrup on your face!! HAAHAHAHAHAHAHA" halos malagutan na ng hininga si Livy kakatawa. Nakakarinidi ang boses ni Olivia sa totoo lang...
"Watch out Dad giant batter incoming!!!" Oying yelled mabilis na naka-iwas si Greggy kaya tumagos lang sa kanya.

Huli na marealize na ako pala ang target nila dahil may naramdaman akong may malagkit ma dumampi sa mukha ko... inis akong nagpapadyak na kinuha ang isang tabo ng tubig at isinaboy sa mag ama.

They ran into the garden..kaya sumunod ako... target locked HAHAHAHAHA agad akong lumapit sa hose at hinayaang mag on ito... agad kong dinampot ang hose at walang pagdadalawang isip na ipinaligo sa kanya...

"Yun oh nakahanap na ng armas..paano ba 'yan mga anak? ATTACKKKKK" sigaw ni Greggy at sinugod ako. Naghabolan kami hanggang sa pool area. "Damay-damay na ito!!!" sigaw ni Livy, naiirita ako sa boses nya..

"Teka langggggg, Hindi ako makahinga" mahinahong sambit ni Oying..agad kaming natigil.. hawak hawak pa ang dibdib nya... nagulat ako ng bigla nya akong tinulak sa pool...

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA GOTCHU MOM!!!" she shouted at agad naman silang nag highfive at talagang pinagtulungan pa ako!!! "Sabi ni San Pedro pag pikon sya daw maglilinis" sambit ni Livy.

"Oi... oying totoo ba yung kanina"bulong nya eh rinig ko parin naman..

"Shhhh, wag kang maingay I've been feeling this for a quite long na eh, chest pain and shortness of breathe.Ginawa ko lang 'yun para Hindi na magworry si Mommy" rinig kong sabi ni Oying habang nagpupunas ng bimpo sa mukha nya

"Oh umagang umaga nakabusangot ka na naman... ngiti naman jan!!'kantyaw ni Greggy saka ako inakbayan. Inis ko syang inirapan....nagulat ako ng maramdamang dumampi ang labi nya sa labi ko.. at ninakawan pa talaga ako ng halik....

"Siguro naman bawi na ako sayo! Bye I love you!!" He shouted and ran away.
"GREGORIOOOOOOO" inis kong sigaw

I smiled melancholy as I reminisce the past, I miss morning asaran with them, morning kalat at morning lambingan with them... sa sobrang higpit ko Hindi ko namalayan  naunti unti ko na silang sinasakal..

"Jusko Irene!!!  Anong ginagawa mo? Tumayo ka nga riyan!!!" I heard Ate Imee's voice. Instead of standing I extended my arms for a hug. "I needed this Ate  I badly need a hug." I sobbed upon leaning on her... she rubbed my back in a comforting way...

"Shhhh, its fine Ate is always here, Ading ko" she said
