"Everybody got your swimsuits?" You ask.
"Yeah." Everyone said as they piled out of your truck.
Jade grabbed her and Rose's bag out of the back of the truck and ran to catch up with Rose.
I played the $5 fee for the lot of us to get in and we all headed to the dressing rooms to change.
Àfter dressing we waited outside for the girls and they came out a few minutes later.
I wore simple red swim trunks and John wore blue ones, Jade wore a green, backless 1 piece that exposed her sides, and rose wore a pale pink 2 piece.
We walked around untill we found enough chairs and sat down.
"Alright, everyone, sunscreen!" You say.
"But I wanna get a tan!" Jade says.
"In Texas, trust me. You will." You say.
Everyone passes 2 bottles of sunblock around.
"Hey. Will you put some on my back?" Jade asks.
"I will." A short, freckled red headed boy says.
"No. I will." John says, frowning at the boy.
"What a creeper." Rose says as she hands John the bottle.
"Will you do me?" Rose asks you.
"Bad word choice, but yeah." You say.
You take the bottle from her and dispense some into your hand. (A/N omg dirty thoughts lol.) You start to rub it onto her back.
"Eh! Cold!" She says.
You continue to rub it in until its soaked in.
"There you go!" You say, patting her back.
"Thanks." She says.
"Hey, you. With the the shades." You hear.
You turn. There's a girl with long, purple hair holding a bottle of sun screen.
"Can you put some on my back?" She asks.
"Uh. No." You say, then turn back around.
"Are all girls thirsty for you here?" John asked.
"Mostly. But I'm interested in someone else." You say.
"Oh yeah. Me too." John says, his face slightly red.
"Well, come here john." You say.
He looks confused. He sits next to you and you rub sunscreen on his back slowly.
After your done, he does the same for you.
You get up and push your shades up your nose.
You see a splash. Jade just jumped in.
Another splash. Rose joined her, laughing and sending a wave over her. John stuck his toe in the water and shivered.
"I'll get in later..." he said.
You wrap both your arms around him and jump in.
"Ahh! Dave!" He said, laughing.
You plunge under the water and your friends do the same, you all go to the very bottom of the pool. Jade's long hair floated all the way to the surface of the water.
John tries to say somthing, but your not sure what.
"Iblub oohh avvvvbblllbbbb" is all you hear.
You tilt your head to the side, raising and eyebrow.
"Yoo blbbs bbrr derr!!" He says.
You shake your head. He points above you. Your shades floated off your face and were now bobbing around above you.
You grab them and put them on.
Good thing you were far away from him or he would've seen your eyes.
He would've tbought you were a.... freak.
You act like it didn't bother you, but it did.
You come up for air and so does everyone else.
"We should go to the diving board!" Jade says.
Rose gasps. "Yes!"
"Cool with me." You say.
"Uh... I guess so." John says nervously.
You put your arm around his shoulders, your stark white complexion a strong contrast to his tan skin.
"Its okay, john. I'll go with you." You say.
He nods and smiles.
"Me first!" Jade says, raising her hand.
She climbs the ladder and steps up the the board. She points at us and winks.
She does a cannonball, her long black hair flapping above her.
There was a splash and a few seconds later, she's swimming to the edge of the pool.
"My turn." You say. You climb up the ladder and walk to the edge of the diving board. You do A front flip and make a huge splash.
Before you even get to the edge, rose was at the end of the board and she does a wimpy jump and lands about 10 feet behind you, which earns a loud eruption of cheers from Jade and john.
You and Rose get out off the pool and you pull your swimtrunks up.
"Alright john, you ready?" You ask.
He nods and climbs the ladder. You follow behind him. When he gets to the edge, he looks back at you. You stride (A/N haha, strides, get it? Get it? Dave Stride- ugh never mind!!!) Towards him and you wrap and arm around his back and do a simple cannon ball.
With the two of you combined, you were pretty sure that was a pretty damn big splash, cause you soaked a fat Lady and her kids.
When you come back up there was an explosion of cheers from Rose and Jade.
You help John out of the pool.
"You guys hungry?" You ask. You certainly were.
"Yeah." Jade and rose say in unison. Jade patted her stomach.
"Starving!" John says.
"Let's get lunch at the food court. I'll pay." You say, leading the way.
You open the gate and allow your friends to pass before you.
You see Dirk. He works here.
He looks at you, pushing his pointed shades up the bridge of his nose.
"Dave. " he says.
"Hey." You say.
"Your brother, Dave?" You hear a male's voice behind dirk say.
"Yeah." He says (A/N genetic father, / adoptive brother. I know. Don't kill me.)
A boy about your age pushes Dirk out of the way so he can stick his head out the ordering window.
"Oh. He's sexy..." he says, resting his head in his hand.
"Hah. Real funny, germy. He's got his eye on... someone else." Dirk says.
" Its Jeremy! And I don't care, holy shit, that's one big piece of sexy" the boy says.
"More like one big piece of taken." Dirk says.

You guys order a pizza and set it on the table.
You take a piece. "The pizza here is better than sex." You say, although you wouldn't actually know.
You hear Dirk snort.
"It is really good." Jade says, eating her pizza sideways.
John grabbed yout coke and took a drink of it.
"Ohh! Can I have a drink, Dave?" Jade asks.
"Yeah." You say.
"Me too?" Rose asks.
You nod.
John looks at you, and you look right into his big blue eyes.
You have never wanted to kiss someone so bad in your life.
Dirk could see it.
"Just do it." He said quietly from the order window.
You look back at him and shake your head.

You all walk into your apartment and head to your room.
It was about 6:30
Rose And Jade both got a bit of a tan, just as you promised, you of course got a bit sunburnt. You always did, you never tanned, just burned, john just stayed the same.
"Tomorrow, we do water balloons." You say.
