Y/N nervously glanced around. Was choosing a packed place a good move now? She had chosen to meet her blind date at a mall because that way she wouldn't be alone with a stranger. But now she was having her doubts. Who or where was this William guy? Her friend Jen only told her that he was tall and pale.

"Just your type." She had said. Y/N sighed, growing antsy. Maybe she should get into punctual guys.

"Excuse me," An accented voice pierced her ears. Immediately catching her attention since nobody in Utah had a British accent as far as she knew.

She turned to look at the man who's voice had caught her attention. He was tall and pale. Could this be..

"William?" The woman inquired, scanning over the man.

The man in question was easily over six foot. He had slightly messed up hair but he made it work. What would of been unkempt on others was clearly charming on him. His skin was pale, it aided in making his slight eyebags a bit more noticeable. His jaw, one that could cut and his clothes were clearly those of a businessman or a man who knew how to dress.

"Y/N?" His velutinous voice returned.

Y/N sighed an air of relief. It would have been so embarrassing if the man wasn't who she was waiting for.

So this was her blind date. Jen certainly knew how to pick them it seemed. But where could she have possibly met such a fine man like this?

"Darling, are we just going to stare at each other the whole time?" William chuckled.

The woman quickly looked away, embarrassed.

"Well I wouldn't mind. Would you?"

Y/N smirked. Her flirty and composed persona that she used on certain people coming to her.

William returned the smirk.

"Charming, aren't you? Now, let's see if you can keep up with me. I'm not what others would call duck soup. But your choice of meeting location makes you seem so," He extended his hand, as if he didn't just say what he said.

Y/N scoffed. Playfully rolling her eyes.

"Duck soup you say? I'm a bisque." She took his hand, pulling on it; beckoning.

The two proceeded to walk together.
At first silently until Y/N noticed a pair of boots in a shiny display.

Her footsteps stopped, her eyes going up and down the leather. If William hadn't shifted and chuckled, she would have completely forgotten that the man was there.

"Do you want them?" His fingertips traced stars on her palm.

She sighed,"I wish. I'll come back another time." The woman feigned sadness. She could afford the shoes but she wanted to see what the man would do. He clearly had cash too but would he bite? Was he actually her type?

"Come on," William squared himself, his posture straightening as he gently tugged on his date's hand.

"What?" Y/N questioned innocently, adopting a look to go with her voice.

"We have to be in the store to buy those boots, no?"

Y/N gasped, "Oh, you don't have to." She playfully rubbed the man's arm, looking away.

"Nonsense. I know you like men with money. I'm a businessman, did you know? Think of this as a sort of negotiation of sorts," His pale blue eyes were now slightly hooded. What did he have in mind?
