Chapter 21

3rd Person's POV

"Now, it's time to collect" Lero said and laughed like a crazy bish. Mirabel groaned and looked at Lero and the others. 'what does he mean?' she thought but Lero suddenly kneeled on Alma and laughed again. "Look at you. Pathetic human" he then said and slapped the old hag. Everyone on the family let out a shocked expression at the sight and by the sound of that, it must've hurt. "YOU BASTARD!" Bruno yelled at tried to free himself from Lero's gremlin but failed. "Shut up" the man said and kicked Bruno in the back that made him kneel again.

Bruno tired again and again but obviously failed, Pepa and Julieta can't help but just watch at them and cried as Lero continued to beat the poor old woman. He wished that he saw this coming. 'No this isn't supposed to happen. I'm supposed to protect them' Luisa thought and watched in fear. She's regretting that she isn't strong enough. She's regretting that she can't protect her precious family because of her. The same feeling of pressure and sadness are coming back at her.

Same happened with Camilo. He's regretting that he can't use his shapeshift ability especially in this kind of situation. He regrets that he can't transform right now into a powerful man who can protect and be a good use for the family. 'I can't help them unless I'm not myself' he thought.

All of them are regretting and blaming themselves for what's happening right now. All of them are feeling the same way especially Mirabel. 'No no no no! Why is this happening? This wasn't supposed to happen! I was warned! I knew this time would come and yet... Abuela trusted me for this! I did my best out there and.... this happened' Mirabel thought with tears running down her face. "Stop this, please" she begged but Lero didn't listened to her. She saw that he doesn't have a thought of letting them off. "STOP THIS! STO-" she was cut off when Cesar punched her in the face.

"Shut up, you're annoying" he said and sat beside her. It's a miracle that he can even walk in that state. "You bastard!" Mirabel said and headbutted him (ohh Tanjiro vibes). This pissed Cesar more and he grabbed Mirabel's chin tightly. "Playtime's over" he said and this time, punched her in the stomach. She yelled in pain and coughed up blood. It was not that bad but due to the damaged/beating she gained earlier, that punch even damaged her internal organ more.

Dolores closed her eyes while crying. She wished that she isn't hearing this. Agustin, despite being a man, cried and regretted that he can't protect his daughters while Julieta gained even more emotional damage. "Now, I don't wanna kill you yet." Lero said and stood up. Alma glared at him despite the pain she's feeling all over her body. (Lero's beating + old age) Though she doesn't blame Mirabel or anyone for this. "Hmmm what next?" Lero asked himself with fingers on his chin. "I know! How about we draw?" he asked that somehow confused the others. "What do you mean, Pa?" Cesar asked but Lero just took out a.... knife. (that would be a nice drawing for sure) "W-what are you gonna do with that?" Bruno asked with a shaky voice,hoping that what he is thinking won't come true. Well, luck's not on their side this time.

Lero went not to Alma but to Antonio. Yes, the poor little kid. "I wonder how all of you would react" he said and dragged Antonio in the middle where everyone can see them. Everyone shouted and begged him not to, only making him more interested. "NO, PLEASE! NOT HIM! HE'S JUST A CHILD! PLEASE!" Pepa cried out and the sadness and hatred are clear in her voice. "STOP THIS! PLEASE!" Felix said. "Fuck this shit, I'm out" he sang while dancing and went to the other dimension.

"STOP THIS! TAKE ME INSTEAD! JUST PLEASE!" Felix yelled and tried to struggle and free himself over and over, but again failed like the others. Camilo and Dolores yelled and yelled for them to stop. "Shut them" Lero said and just like that, they both shut up. Some men made them sleep. "Were the thing you did to me weren't enough?!" Alma yelled "Of course not" Lero said and kneeled on Antonio who is currently crying and shaking like crazy.

(He's gonna have a trauma after this. We love that shit fr)

Lero made Antonio sit and he stood up and walked a few steps away. "Nevermind drawing. Let's do darts but instead of using darts, we use knives" he said and took little knives out of his pocket. 'no no no no no' all of their thought are the same. Lero threw a knife on Antonio. Antonio closed his eyes and like the other situation or story, he didn't received any pain. Someone took the damage.

Mirabel watched in shock. "ISA!"
