Chapter 29

Just like the old days

"Y/N... are you sure it was him? How can he still be alive?" Michael runs a hand through his hair out of frustration.

"I'm sure Michael. But he..."

I think of a way to tell him without confusing him. Will he even believe me? Anyone would think I am insane.

"He's what?" Michael waits for my response.

"He isn't human. Not anymore. The springlocks that went off. That was the old spring Bonnie stuit he had on. I think- I... I think he has somehow come to take over the suit." I say, trying my hardest to explain the situation.

Michael's eyes widen. Maybe out of confusion. Maybe out of shock.

"Where?" He asks, grabbing a torch but I pull him back into the office before he has the chance to leave.

"You're not going! It's dangerous. I think it's best for the both of us if we stay here." I suggest.

Surprisingly, Michael agrees and places the torch back down.

I pull up the cameras and flick through them. Sure enough, there he is. William is stood staring at the camera from the corner of the room.

"Holy- how?!"

"I have no idea. But he's coming for me Michael. He wants revenge. Who knows what he wants from you." I say trying to keep calm.

The cameras go static for a moment and the next thing we know, William has disappeared from view. Or should I say, springtrap. Yeah that sounds like a good nickname.

"Shit! Where did he go?!"

Michael flicks through the cams frantically, trying to find his father. On one of the cams, William is stood at the end of the corridor, staring at the security camera.

Without hesitation, I slam my hand down on one of the audio buttons. The 'hello' of a child echoes from another room and soon enough, William has gone back to the room he was in before.

"How did you do that?" Michael looks at me and sighs.

"I don't know. I just kinda pressed it and hoped for the best. I think it might come in handy to draw him away from us." I let out a small laugh.

I would find the whole situation quite funny. If of course, William wasn't trying to kill me... again.

"I'll keep that in mind." Michael says, sitting back in his chair.

The hours tick by quite quickly and soon enough, 6am comes around. William didn't move too many times. He only moved once or twice.

"I still can't believe this is all real." I sigh, walking out of the building as Michael follows.

"I know. But we still can't be fully sure that my father is the one in the spring Bonnie suit." Michael replies.

I stop walking and turn around to face him.

"It's him Michael. I know for a fact it is. He spoke to me with his own voice. He tried to come after me. That thing isn't entirely an animatronic. That thing is your father Michael." I say, watching as Michael's expression changes.

"I believe you Y/N. I just need to speak to him too. I have to know what is really going on."

He walks past me and we get into the car.

The car ride home is silent and all I can do is watch the houses go by outside the window until eventually, we pull up outside my house.

"Well... I'll see you tomorrow I guess." I sigh, offering Michael a small smile before leaving the car.

"Y/N wait."

I turn around, waiting for him to say something. But I can tell he is reluctant.

"It's nothing. I'll see you tomorrow."

I enter my house, waving goodbye to Michael who drives away, leaving me on my own.

I still can't believe William is back. After everything he put my family through... he has decided to come back and fuck with us once more.

It's a shame I'll have to get rid of him.

My sleel goes by pretty quickly and the next day comes quicker than expected. I can't say I'm ready to face William again but I don't really think I've got a choice.

A car horn comes from outside so I grab my things, getting in the passenger seat beside Michael.

"You alright Y/N?" He asks and I nod.

"Yeah I'm fine. It's just- we know how to distract William away from our office at the attraction building. But what happens if he stops responding. I have a feeling he's only gonna get more aggressive with each passing day. He's out to get us Michael. He always has been." I finish with a shaky voice.

Michael gently places his hand over mine, offering me a small smile.

"We can get through this. I believe in us. I believe in you. Let's just... figure out what to do one step at a time, okay?" Michael reassures me.

"Yeah, you're right. Now come on. We don't want to be late for our... showdown." I joke to try and make the situation lighter.

The drive once again isn't too long and soon enough, we are pulling into the parking lot.

I step out of the car and stand in front of the building, taking a deep breath of fresh air to calm myself before I step inside.

I swear to you Charlotte. I'll avenge you no matter how long this takes me. I make sure I kill the bastard that took you away from us too early.

I promise you.
