February 20th - 1952

"Do you come out here every morning?" Tristan looks over, "Yeah I guess so." Rhain strolls over, "About yesterday?" He diverts his attention, "I'm sorry, but they don't want you to know everything. I don't understand why yet, but I'm guessing you don't know either." her eyes become a much simpler detail, "Erm... No, I don't. But I'm ready, ready to hear it all from when our fathers met." He laughs, "I'm not supposed to insight you on the reality, in your eyes, I'm a monster like the bible says. I don't want to change what you've known your whole life." He gets down from the balcony top and stands by the pillar. "I just didn't want to see my father as the bad guy, imagine hearing the truth about your father, or even everything you've known was just a fairy tale to keep you in line." she stands timidly, "I didn't say he was the bad guy exactly, that's not it. My father just wanted to give people more free will, a chance to express their bad side. Yours wanted every single person to be happy when my father knew that was never true, that isn't how life is. They weren't going to make it to where they were today if they were happy living in wooden huts, they needed to explore and make the most out of the earth. My father decided to go underground because he knew the land would keep them close, and then he started interacting with them and he met my mother." She gets closer to him curious, "Do you know the story about me?" He takes her hand and twists her around, her back pushed against the pillar. "Tristan?" he leans over her and takes both her hands and spreads them apart, "What's the story that you know?" She looks at him flushed, "...I-" He leans in closer, "Yes?" she starts to mumble, "Well- My story was that- your father tried to make a world of fire, things that could kill humans." He smiles, "Water can't kill humans? I know your father created that." he gets closer to her lips and she trembles, "Tristan? You can't- don't." he moves away swiftly. "But you wanted to?" She pushes him further away, "I just wanted answers." Her heart was beating, face red as a tomato and she fled the scene.

February 21th - 1952

Scurrying through the house and slamming the door shut as she leaves in the early hours of the morning, Nathaniel opens his door to see the noise and Tristan walks in from the balcony. "She's still avoiding you." Tristan rests on the door, "Yeah, I'll speak to her at school." Nathaniel nods, "I told you not to break her reality and you did, this is the consequence." Unbothered by him he walks into his room to get ready, Nathaniel goes into the bathroom. "You're undecided about the side you'll pick, but do you know for certain you're not picking a side?" Nathaniel reassures him with a nod, "Is it that you want to be human? Not missing your angelic abilities?" Nathaniel looks to him, "I don't want to be human at all, I don't exactly miss being an angel either." Tristan looks him in the eye, "these past three days you seem to have matured... why?" looking over conflicted, "Matured? This is probably how I'd be in hell, days when I can just go to the Death throat mountains. I'm without father so I do as I please. As soon as I am in his presence, my maturity level rises, as a kid cannot rule Hell." Nathaniel shakes his head, "The mature you scares me, but I feel like it suits you more." He cracks a laugh, "Makes the ruling of hell fitting doesn't it." Nodding in agreement, they get closer to reaching the school and Tristan runs off to find Rhain. "Why won't they admit they like one another, just seems a little barbaric." Surprised by the comment he looks beside him, "Lillie." She smiles brightly, "You think they like one another, the devil's son would never fall for her. I might have believed that before but now I'm certain he's playing games." Astounded by his words she steps back. "That seems-" He looks to her with a long face, "Devilish." Agreeing with his statement he grabs hold of his bag. "It is but, he doesn't seem like the type to give himself up for a girl." Lillie looked hurt by those words.

Joining Rhain at the table and placing her plate down, "I don't think it's wise to fall for the devil's son." Startled Rhain looks straight up at her, "I- I wouldn't." Lillie's eyes become weak. "He might just be playing you." Their surroundings become noisy, "I don't even like him, and I know better than to fall for him." Tristan joins the table, Lillie gets up to leave and Rhain begins to eat. "What just happened?" Scraping the food on her plate, "Nothing." shrugging his shoulders and turning to her, "Nathaniel thinks I destroyed your reality, that's why you left early this morning." putting down her fork, "I left early because of what you did yesterday, and the fact that you're so oblivious to it shows your maturity. I am not a demon for you to be destructing such emotions! I am a Goddess, you can't just tease someone for amusement." He smirks and lurks closer, "I was teasing? meaning if I wasn't teasing you'd be perfectly happy to continue with what I was doing." she jumps out of her seat and hits him on the shoulder, "I didn't say that-" He spins his whole body round to look up at her, "But if I said, It wasn't for my amusement and I genuinely wanted something to happen?" he goes to take her hand but she removes hers quickly, smiling as he meets her gaze. "This isn't a game, you have responsibilities!" He gets up to stand above her, "But you never said no." He touches her chin with his fingers and she pushes away, "No!" He smiles deviously, "I would never and you should be thinking the same thing, or you'll have one-sided feelings forever." storming off and abandoning him in the lunch hall.

Nathaniel sits outside with Lillie, "About the other day, I know you would never fall for a demon, I think it was all the saving me and doing stuff without asking, it was different." He stretches out his legs, "It's not that, but if the Devil found out I had a weakness. They'd make it their mission to win, I don't intend to gather those emotions when my goal is so much bigger." looking around at the ground, "You do have a point, I hope you succeed." Rhain walks out and waves towards them, "Tristan gained himself a detention, he won't be walking home with us." both shocked they get up to leave, "Let's go, I have something to do at home." They both pack up the books and leave immediately.
The door swings open banging against the wall, "What the hell!" Nathaniel pokes his head out the door, "We could say the same to you coming in like that." Shocked, he slams it shut, "We're going to forget that you idiots, left me at school?" Confused he then replies, "Rhain said you had a detention, I guess she didn't want you walking home with us." Nathaniel walks back into the room and Tristan flies up to knock on her door, dropping down to the floor gently. "You talk about maturity then leave me at school!" She opens her door, "Oh, you didn't have detention. My mistake, I guess I just assumed you had one then." He pushes her door open, "That's very cute, but you know I haven't had one of those since the last school. It's not fun sitting in a class alone for a whole hour, I'm guessing it's because when I flirt with you, like any other demon you just can't help but want to devour me. I understand that you can't contain yourself, but leaving me at school was very childish." Widening her smile as she says, "I thought. You had. A detention." He nods reassuring her, she starts shutting the door and he puts his foot in the way. "I thought you wanted to know everything about the past, you wanted to know about yourself, right?" she pushes him from her doorway, "I don't want to know from you anymore. The devil lies, the devil is deceitful and on top of that, I know you might try hard to be good, but we both know that you're ignorant." He laughs wildly, "Me! Ignorant, you read my father's book and you think I'm ignorant." she shuts her door and locks it, "No please, I would like to hear your thoughts!" He laughs then walks away to the balcony, she sits behind the door.

February 22th - 1952

Sleeping soundly on the balcony with the wind blowing through his hair, "Tristan? let's go." He opens his eyes, beaming red iris staring at the sky. "Coming." he jumps off and walks inside, "She's not coming." He stands outside her door, "Oh, come on. We have disagreements all the time, if you don't come in I'll surely get Nathaniel here to come to hell." Nathaniel stands without a word then makes his way downstairs, "Not even talking to me now." he bangs on the door then starts heading down the stairs, "You two really know how to get under one another's skin." Tristan smiles, "It seems as though she can't make me mad anymore, because she repeats the same things, over and over. I'm evil and I'm a killer, just doesn't hurt like it used to, so I guess this time she's really taking it to heart." Nathaniel looks at him as they walk along the path, "But you were hurt, or you wouldn't have reacted. Making her stay home today. You might think it doesn't hurt anymore, but it's because you can hurt her much worse." Tristan pushes his right hand onto his face, "I can't help that, she gets me so mad! If she just didn't- If she would just- just stop." Looking at him confused and deflated, "If I upset her, then I feel like I've won. That there's no need for me to get angry and do what she believes I am, she called me ignorant! out of the both of us, me! I'm not an angel and even if I wanted to become one I was born into a role of my own, it's not like I can just be like. 'Bye dad, Instead of ruling Hell, I've decided to become an Angel." Nathaniel stops outside the school, "You were brought up to know the truth because the truth doesn't make you seem as bad as your made out to be, but to God that bible the Devil wrote puts fear into humans just knowing that a horrible fate awaits them if they follow wrong by their actions. Even just knowing there are demons and angels that are just like one of them, isn't what people want to hear. They need to know that demons look terrifying, act terrifying and behave it." His dull expression conceives Tristan's curiosity, "But why implant that fear into the next ruler." Nathaniel then says, "Because fear creates a strong leader, humans fear going to hell to see you so they make it their mission to go by that book. Some are so struck by those rules that they believe some of the nonsense, but it keeps some of them in line." Tristan looks at him, "God doesn't believe she'll be a good Goddess, The meetings every 100 years. He thinks if she knew all the knowledge I did I could walk all over her because her heart is pure... People who are pure can be manipulated easily."
