The next few days, Tony, Bruce, Rocket, and I spent creating a gauntlet to hold all six stones. Once it was ready, we all wondered who would be the one to put on the glove and snap their fingers. Whoever did it would have to be powerful enough to wield all six Infinity Stones, which were one of the most powerful objects in the galaxy.

"I'll do it." Thor offered.

Tony raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"

"It's okay." Thor assured him.

Immediately, we all stopped Thor as we blurted out. "No, no, no, whoa. Stop. Stop. Wait a sec."

"Wait, wait, Thor, just wait. We haven't decided who's gonna put that on yet." Steve protested.

Thor scoffed. "I'm sorry. What, we're just sitting around waiting for the right opportunity?"

"We should at least discuss it." Scott suggested.

"No, no. Sitting here. staring at that thing is not gonna bring everybody back. I'm the strongest Avenger, okay? So this responsibility falls upon me. It's my duty." Thor argued.

"It's not about that–" I began.

"Stop it! Just let me!" Thor exclaimed as tears filled his eyes. "Just let me do it. Just let me do something good. Something right."

My heart clenched. Poor Thor...I know he wanted to do something good, but this was dangerous. There was enough energy in that glove to light up a continent. We need to be wise about this or we will make matters worse.

"Look, it's not just the fact that that glove is channeling enough energy to light up a continent, I'm telling you, you're in no condition." Tony explained.

"What do you...what do you think is coursing through my veins right now?" Thor asked.

Rhodey raised an eyebrow. "Cheez Whiz?"

"Lightning." Thor corrected.

"Yeah." Tony said, giving Thor's shoulder a pat.

"Lightning won't help you, pal. It's gotta be me." Bruce intervened.

Thor shook his head as he reluctantly let go of Tony. Bruce then continued. "You saw what those stones did to Thanos. It almost killed him. None of you could survive."

"How do we know you will?" Steve asked.

"We don't. But the radiation's mostly gamma." Bruce mentioned, taking a good look at the gauntlet. "It's like...I was made for this."

"Good to go, yeah?" Tony inquired.

"Let's do it." Bruce confirmed.

"You remember, everyone Thanos snapped away five years ago and just bringing them back to now, today. Don't change anything from the last five years." Tony reminded him.

Bruce nodded. "Got it."

With that, everyone suited up, prepared for what was to come. I didn't have a fancy superhero suit like the others, but I had my shield uniform along with my dad's jacket. I stood next to Steve, who was prepared to use his shield in case the power of the stones knocked us back. Tony, Rhodey, and Scott put on their helmets, while Rocket put on his googles, being shielded by Thor, who extended an arm out to protect him. Tony revealed an energy shield, protecting Clint and himself.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., do me a favor and activate Barn Door Protocol. Will you?" Tony urged.

Tony's A.I., F.R.I.D.A.Y., immediately responded. "Yes, boss."

The entire facility quickly went on lockdown. Bruce then spoke up. "Everybody comes home."

Bruce puts on the gauntlet, which immediately expanded to fit his hand, and the power began to surge through this body. It quickly overwhelms him as he groaned in pain.
