The one thing that Landon was grateful for when it came to his knightly training was, and always will be, sword training. While he never had been very good at it, it had come in handy several times during his life. He may have been cut down when he was on his way towards the princess, but to his defence, he didn't have a sword nearby. He had been lucky that the woman had been there in time. Well, after he had been abducted, tied to a tree, fed stale bread and made to piss while someone watched. At least he had been allowed to turn away.

The woman had saved him right before they had entered one of the bigger towns, where he had been told that he would be sold off for a hefty sum. The night before they arrived the woman had swept in like a thunderstorm, cutting down almost all of the bandits before rescuing Landon and running away. She had laughed heartily when they had arrived at a cave far from the bandit's campsite. At his gaping, she had only clapped him on the back and grinned.

"Gave it a swipe down earlier, free from bears and bandits!"
