She petted the deer behind it's huge ear. The animal may not really feel it, but she felt like the action brought some calm to their situation. They made their way through the forest, and she made herself comfortable on one of the deer's horns. The weather was not particularly hot, nor cold. After a while she realised she had been dozing off. Startling awake, she looked around and realised that they had gotten to a pond somewhere way off of where she was supposed to be. With a groan, she heaved herself down from the hown, and climbed down the huge body by grabbing onto tufts of the rough fur. In relation to climbing trees, this was much easier. When she was finally back on ground, she saluted the deer and began her journey on foot instead. It would take so much longer, especially if she couldn't find a railway in the trees. If she remembered correctly, there should be one around here, maybe in one of the trees. She scanned the crowns, trying to find the tell-tale glimmer of metal. When she couldn't find any, she decided that she had a greater chance of climbing up and trying again.
