nightmare; yours

"Where are you?"

"I'm like 20 minutes away."

"I'm not going to sleep until you get here."

"Yes you are. We have to wake up early if we're going to catch the flight to Busan." Your boyfriend, Park Jimin, tells you over the phone. "Just close your eyes and when you wake up I'll be there."

"Promise..?"

"I promise, baby."

You both hanged up the call and like he said, you got ready for bed as you await for him to come home. You take a shower and do your face care routine before getting into your bed that you share with Jimin.

The time was 9:01 pm when you fell asleep.

After 20 minutes, Jimin arrived home from work and he was exhausted. He puts his stuff away and starts preparing for bed. He also took a shower and did some face care, then goes to the master bedroom, smiling at you as you slept peacefully.

He gets under the covers with you and back hugs your waist as he presses his face against your back. He fell asleep not long later.

- 12:00 am -

Jimin was awoken by the sound of you suddenly whining in pain. 

You were gripping onto the bed sheets and scrunching your face as your dream grew worse.

Jimin uses one hand to move your hair behind your ear, he leans close to it and whispers into it. "Jagi...it's okay, there's nothing to be afraid of." He said gently. But it didn't work, you were still trapped in your dream.

He took a deep sigh before close to your ear again, "All this is no coincidence...just my feelings..."

He was singing serendipity.

The sound of his angelic voice flowed through your ear and into your head. Killing your nightmare. And within seconds, you were calming down and breathing steadily again. Once your head was cleared, you nuzzled yourself back into your pillow, dozing off.

Jimin kisses the back of your head after making sure you were sound asleep. "I love you, jagi. Sweet dreams."
