Chapter 55

"It's all her fault!", Sunmi squealed while stomping her feet causes it to make a loud noise.

"N-Noona.....calm down, she's not...", Sunoo weakly said.

"She is! Look what happened to you, it's all because of her! Can't she just love you? Does she even realise how much you had done for her?!", Sunmi messes with her hair in frustration.

"Sunmi, calm down", King Kim spoke.

"How am I suppose to? Appa, your son is falling so hard for her....she had no idea about it!"

"Sunoo, Why don't you confess to her before it's too late. I hate to see you in this condition....", her blood boiled.

"W-why should I? She likes someone else, I would get rejected on point", Sunoo said.

Sunmi took a deep breath before making her way towards Sunoo and sat at the edge of his bed.

"Sunoo....."

"Are you just going to let her hurt you?"

Sunmi said making Sunoo look down, avoiding her gaze on him. His brain wouldn't let him answer her tricky question.

"Sunoo, I know you want her to be happy.....but you have to think about yourself too...."

"I know but....it'll ruin our friendship....and I don't think we're meant to be together...."

Sunmi's expression changed when she heard those words coming out from his mouth. Then, she looks at her dad and raised her eyebrows as a signal to say something.

King Kim couldn't manage himself to speak. He didn't want to support his son's love at first.....but now he knows how much Sunoo truly loves her.

"Sunoo"

"You and her..."

"Are meant to be together"

Sunoo turns his head facing his dad. His eyes softens when King Kim said that.

"I want you and Heejin to be together....", he spoke again.

Sunoo couldn't even hide his feelings....

He got his dad's blessing....

"Sunoo....", Sunmi calls out his name making him turn his attention to her.

"Confess"

A word coming out from her mouth.

"I would....but she likes Sunghoon....", Sunoo said while still feeling unsure about his decision.

"Yeah, I know she likes him...."

"Hm...", Sunoo added.

"But she loves you...."

"Miss do you hear me?"

A voice called her multiply times making her snap out of her thoughts. She lift her head, looking at the person who's standing infront of her with his knees slightly bend so he could reach her height.

"O-Oh yea do you need anything?"

"No, I just want to say that we had finished arranging all the things", the guy responded.

"Oh, okay I think that's it. Here, thank you for helping me", Heejin said and lend him money.

"No problem and Thank you, have a great day Miss", the guy gave her a soft smile before making his way towards the front door. He got inside his car with the others before driving away.

Heejin closed the door and takes her time to look around the house. She still wants to keep the old furnitures as memories.

She let out a slight sigh before slamming herself on the big soft couch. She takes her phone that is placed on the coffee table to check the time.

"6:56 p.m.", she said to herself.

The Annual dinner starts at 8pm, she thought that maybe she should get ready by now. She stood up from the couch and walk upstairs to her room. She froze infront of her bedroom's door and took a glance at Sunoo's bedroom.

What is he doing now?

Is he okay?

The negative thoughts played in her mind as she shook her head and let out a slight sigh. She opens the door before taking a step inside her bedroom.

Sunoo stood infront of a huge mirror, admiring himself while Sunmi was fixing his tie.

"Are you sure you want to go?", Sunmi asked as she finished fixing his tie.

"Yeah, I'm sure. If I don't, Heejin will get sad, and I don't want that", Sunoo said while his eyes are still focusing on himself through the huge mirror.

"Sunoo....why do you always care about someone else? You'd rather get hurt than seeing someone sad?", Sunmi said to herself.

"I think I'm done, how do I look?", Sunoo turns around, facing his dad.

"You look great and handsome, just like me", he responded as all of them chuckled.

They stopped when they heard a knock on the door.

"I'll get it", Sunmi said before making her way towards the door and slightly open it, revealing Heejin fully dressed.

"Hi....is Sunoo ready?", Heejin asked.

"Oh yeah", Sunmi responded and step aside so Heejin could see Sunoo.

As soon as Sunoo saw her, he looks at her up and down as a smile formed on their lips. Their smile is so contagious making Sunmi and King Kim also smiled.

Sunoo slowly walk towards her with a big smile on his face.

"You guys wear matching clothes, how cute", Sunmi spoke and tried to hide her smile. She couldn't tell how happy she is.

"Sunoo picked this dress for me, isn't it pretty?", Heejin said before spinning around.

"Wow! You picked it? Well, my lil bro have a good taste in fashion", Sunmi hit Sunoo's shoulder playfully.

They were laughing together until Heejin decided to spoke.

"The uber will arrive soon, shall we go?"

"Oh okay, sure. See you later Noona, appa", Sunoo waved them goodbye before following Heejin from behind.
