My mood was off since the moment I woke up in the morning because of my sore throat but it became even worse when I didn't get my morning coffee. Apparently the cafe where I get my everyday coffee was closed for some reason.
The journey from my apartment to the company's building was depressing. My manager tried his best to start a conversation but I wasn't having it at all. Instead of talking to him,I put on my headphones grumpily and stared outside the car's window.
It has been a week since my ramp walk at Louis Vuitton event. And just like I thought,I was the topic of discussion for almost a week till now for all the good reasons.
And because of the viral video of my ramp walk,several brand companies were calling my agency, offering me their brand promotion. And I must say,It feels good to be back in track.
Even my Instagram comment sections are now filled with positive comments more than the hate one. My real fans started to fill all my photos with positive comments and I couldn't help but to feel genuinely grateful for their efforts.
Finally the car stopped and I get off from the car followed by my manager. There were few paparazzi outside the building waiting for me so I rushed inside the building,fixing my mask.
"They don't spare us even in the early morning" I muttered and my manager chuckled behind me as we get into the elevator.
"It's their job" He said "They earn money from it"
To that response,I rolled my eyes and take off my mask "Well thanks,I didn't know about that" I said teasingly and he chuckled once again.
"I swear I wouldn't even wake up this early if I wasn-" My words froze mid-sentence when the elevator's door opened and I came across with the most unexpected person.
And he was none other than Cai xukun.
He was with his manager as well.
However he broke into a big smile as soon he saw me "Lisa! Long time no see!" He said "How are you?"
I stepped out from the elevator and stood before him but I was still surprised by him "I-I'm fine! What about you?" I asked.
"I'm all good" He respond "And I guess you're here to meet Mr Han?"
"Y-yeah?" I said and he chuckled.
"Oh! You must be wondering what am I even doing here in your agency in this early morning,right?" He asked and I nodded genuinely.
"Well, let's say I officially joined your agency just now" He said and I couldn't help but to stare at him in surprise.
"What?" I said "Are you being serious right now?"
He chuckled "Yes,Now we are labelmates"
The idea of having him as my labelmate was so unexpected. We've worked together in the past in a commerical but it was way back when I was just a rookie actress in the industry. We eventually lost contacts with each other as we both got busy with our own work and we never able to meet each other again until now.
Nostalgia caught him just like mine because he spoke with a smile "We never really get the time to know each other. Now I hope we'll work together more in the future"
"Sure!" I smiled back at him this time "And congratulations for joining a new company!"
"You're welcome" He said "Well,Let me save your number a real quick"
I was a little surprised by his bold approach but I eventually gave him my number. And as I looked at him,I noticed he really did changed in a good way. He become more handsome and more confident. I've seen his face all over the Korea and I was aware of the fact that he was really popular these days for his look and acting. So I couldn't help but to admire him for his hard work.
Finally after we exchanged our numbers,We said our quick goodbyes and I went to Mr Han's office. He greeted me as soon he saw me.
We then discussed about some issue regarding my schedules and shooting. Mr Han showed me the offer of some dramas that has been given for me but one particular drama offer caught my eyes.
It was from the director who's really popular nowadays. He was also awarded last year the best director of the year and his drama has also won many awards. So it was a great opportunity for me to take a chance and get it with the trend.
"I think I would like to read the script of this one" I said showing Mr han my choice and he responded with a nod.
"Sure,Go ahead"
It took me not too long to read the concept of the drama.it was melo-drama genre drama and I genuinely liked the story. The drama was based on a girl and boy who fell in love each other but when the fate came crashing down at them,They had to fight for their love to be together.
The story was original and has a hint of hope in it which I was looking for such a long time,So I eagerly signed the agreement papers and Mr Han arranged the meeting between me and the director.
And finally,I said my goodbye and walked out from the office.
I was pretty exhausted when I stepped inside my apartment so I plopped on my sofa, I was planning to take a quick nap before once again leaving for my last shooting at 3pm. I've two hours on my hand so I decided to get a pretty good nap.
But the sound of door bell woke me up.
Groaning under my breath,I sat up grumpily "Who on the earth!" I muttered to myself as I make my way to the door "I swear i'll-"
My words froze mid-sentence when I opened the door and saw him standing before me.
And as soon our eyes met, jungkook smiled "Hi,Lisa,we met again" while I stood there,stunned.
