Chapter 30 (Thirty)

Jungkook and all the other members of We8 were present along with U-girls at their shooting location. As suggested by Jungkook,The director had decided to shoot in a museum so they booked the museum for some time.

Chaerie,The youngest of U-girls who was standing near jungkook,stole a glance at him and couldn't help but to feel her face getting hot.

"He's really handsome!" She thought to herself as she once again took a glance at his handsome side profile.

Jungkook however didn't notice anything because his mind was occupied by the director who was explaining of what they needed to do.

"Jungkook-ssi and Nia-ssi as the leader of your group,You are required to stand in the middle and walk towards the camera together" The director explained and both of them nodded their heads.

After discussing the shoots,The director continued with his other works while both the groups waited for the camera to be set up as they were already dressed up and their make up were done.

Grabbing the chance,Chaerie decided to approach jungkook,shyly.

"I apologise for the disturbance" She said as she smiled at jungkook and earned his attention "But I was wondering if we can exchange our contact numbers?"

Other We8 members who were standing beside him stared at her boldness and couldn't help but to sigh at her childish behaviour. What is this? Are you in a club?

When she did not received any answer from jungkook. She spoke once again under his indifferent stare "I mean,We are in the same industry so we could help each other someday"

It was an old technic to get someone's number in the name of work. And jungkook knew it well.

Staring coldly at her for a second,He torn his gaze from her finally "No,I'm not interested"

His direct answer was a big slap to her face!

At first,she was dumbfounded of what had just happened and after that she was speechless. She embarassedly nodded and walked back to her group,her face red in embarrassment.

Seeing her state,Nia furrowed her eyebrows.

Nia understood since the meeting day that jungkook wasn't easy to approach and he was clearly not interested in those dating stuff that was why she choose not to bother him anymore but then when she saw her maknae's pitiful face,She couldn't help but to feel that he was too harsh. She thought he could've just reject her in a more pleasant way. There was so many ways to reject someone without hurting them.

"Are you okay?" She whispered to her maknae and Chaerie nodded slightly.

"Yes" She said and forced a smile but Nia could clearly see that she was very embarassed and sad about what had just happened.

Comforting her,She held chaerie's hands "Don't approach him anymore" She said,looking at her in a seriously "We are here to shoot and we'll just do that. We don't need to interact with them"

Hearing that statement,Chaerie's lips quivered "I thought we can be friends" She replied,her eyes lowering on the floor.

Nia opened her mouth again to interrupt her but she thought it was enough. So instead of saying anything,she just patted her maknae's head and sighed. She didn't want her to be more upset.

As the shoot ended, Everyone said their goodbyes and finally they were free to go home.

And grabbing the opportunity,Jungkook hurried away from the shooting set while Nia's eyes followed him.

Lisa was surprised when she suddenly crossed her path with Jenna at the company's corridor. And just like her,Jenna also didn't have her manager with her.
