5 Days have gone since Valentine's, meaning five days have past since Kat and Dick slept together. Things have been....rough, to say the least, Kat woke up only to find the other side of her bed empty, and when she waited for him to apparently take her on a date, he didn't show. She was fuming, and had to excuse his flaky behaviour at the ball, and then went home to cry in to her pillow.

Times like this she missed Jason, he was her sunshine, when Dick was being, well, a dick. Jason saw past all the bullshit, and despite being an angry kid, he always held a soft spot for her, before he died Jason promised to take her out on a carnival day, give her the full human experience. She indulged the younger kid who she saw as her little brother, but on the fateful day, when Bruce informed her of the news, Katrina blamed herself for being so wrapped up in other things, that she barely noticed her brother's suffering. "Kat? Kat!?" she snaps out of her daze, "Good, we're starting the briefing soon," M'gann says, and Katrina nods.

"Investigating the origin of the alien bomb, that destroyed the Krolotean invasion force is still a high priority. We suspect the bomb may have been smuggled t Earth vis boom tube. Watchtower sensor scans of Bialya have have recorded an uptick in boom tube activity," Nightwing briefs, "Alpha Squad, your mission is to.." he begins, "Sneak behind enemy lines, recon known boom tube hotspots, and find alien tech matching the bomb, Oh!, and don't get caught or create an international incident, right?" Cassie enthusiastically interrupts, "That about covers it," Nightwing replies slightly smiling.
