Melina's pov:

I woke up in the middle of the night feeling sweaty and upset because of a nightmare I had. In my dream I saw George dressed as a groom waiting for me in the sanctuary of a church while I was walking slowly down the aisle dressed in a wedding dress. When I approached him I realized that instead of George it was another man who was waiting for me. The same man from my memories, the same man that probably made a scene yesterday night. He was looking at me with a wide smile when he gave me his hand. I reciprocated his smile, took his hand and together we headed to the priest who stood in front of the sanctuary waiting for us.

We were saying our vows when George burst into the church holding a knife. He threatened to kill the man beside me. He came closer and attacked him. He was about to kill him when I stepped forward and instead of stabbing him, George stabbed me in the abdomen. I fell down surrounded by a pool of blood. And then something wonderful happened. A beautiful blonde boy approached me and stood above me while my wound was disappeared. The boy smiled at me and offered me his little hand. I grabbed it and the boy said "Raise up mother, I need you! I am too young to be left alone."

That's when I woke up terrified! What was this dream? I quickly got out of my bed and headed to the bathroom to throw up. My stomach was really a mess. When I returned to my bedroom, the clock read five in the morning. I decided to forget the dream and try to get some sleep. I was feeling exhausted. "I would think about it the next day with a clearer mind" I told myself and let sleep overtake me.

I was having my breakfast in bed when I was informed that the doctor wanted to see me right away. He wanted to talk to me privately. I told the maids to bring him inside.

-"Good morning Mrs. Andreadakis. How is my beloved patient feeling today?" asked Doctor Alexandrou.

-"Morning doctor. I feel so awful! My stomach is a mess" I complained.

-"Unfortunately your condition won't get better at least for the following three months" the doctor reassured me.

-"Oh! Why? What's wrong with me?" I asked in concern.

-"Don't worry. Ιt's not something to worry about. Your condition is completely normal!"

-"Then why do I feel so bad?"

-"Because you are three months pregnant Mrs. Andreadakis"

-"Oh my God!" I exclaimed happily! "I can't believe it! I am pregnant!" I said enthusiastically levitating with joy!

-"Congratulations!" the doctor wished me.

-"Thank you doctor" I said giving him a toothy smile. A child of mine! I couldn't feel more happy about it!

-"Doctor, why did you say another three months? If I am three months pregnant the remaining months are more than three...Am I wrong?" I wondered after a while.

-"No, you aren't. But the first months are usually the one that have symptoms like yours. Then things get better at least concerning the vomiting."

-"Oh I see..." I told him excitedly. I was so happy that a new life was inside me that suddenly I didn't care about my symptoms....

-"You have to take care of yourself. Eat, sleep well and don't tire yourself too much!" Doctor advised.

-"Yes doctor, I will!" I reassured him happily.

After the doctor's visit everything became clear in my mind. The boy I saw in my dream is the child in my womb that is coming. But why did I see that I married the strange man instead of George? What does this mean? Is it possible that the baby I am carrying belongs to the foreign man and not to George? How should I find out? I need to recover my memory. There is no other way. I have to try harder to remember everything about my past life.

Hearing the happy news made my heart flutter. I was so happy to have a new life inside me that I forgot about the vomiting and the awful feeling I had all these days. I quickly got dressed and decided to go for a walk. I wasn't going to sit in a bed all day. My baby deserves a happy mother not a miserable one. I carefully made my way downstairs trying to avoid Tina or George. I knew if they saw me they wouldn't let me leave the house.

I opened the door and went out. The road was very busy. Carriages went up and down, people walked fast, children played and old people sat on the sidewalks and commented on everyone who passed. At this time of day the city traffic was at its peak. I was walking down the street window shopping when my eye caught a small park to my left. I decided that it would be my next destination. I crossed the road and entered the park premises.

The park was really beautiful with big plane trees and colorful flowers growing everywhere. It had a small pond in the middle of it in which beautiful swans anad ducks were swimming. A street vendor was just below the lake selling cookies. I bought two and circled the lake looking for a free bench. The children were playing here and there with their mothers chasing them from behind while the older ones enjoyed their ride. Everything seemed peaceful and carefree.

After a few rounds I managed to find one. I sat on it and started eating my cookies as I watched the swans swim gratefully in the pond.

Suddenly various images flooded my mind. A small lake in the middle of the forest appeared firstly in my mind. I was swimming in it enjoying myself when suddenly I felt something grabbing my left leg. Fear took me over! As I was trying to swim away it managed to sink me. I was under the surface of the lake for some seconds when I felt being pulled up again. I came to the surface and met two beautiful gray eyes looking at me with affection. The same man was in front of me smiling at me! The man who dominates my dreams and thoughts. Who is he?

Then another image came to my mind. I saw me and the same strange man sitting in front of a fireplace hugging and drinking wine. The place looked like an old cabin. The atmosphere was very romantic and we looked very happy together. Then we made love.

Various memories began to flood my mind. I had a terrible headache. I covered my face with my hands not being able to bear the pain and discomfort I was feeling at the moment. I stood in this position for a while when I felt two hands gently touch my knees. I wondered who had the courage to do such a thing. I immediately opened my eyes to find out. A very familiar man was standing in front of me, a man who monopolized my thoughts, my dreams, my mind the last few days. He gave me a sweet smile that I returned timidly. Suddenly the grimace on his face changed from smiling to sad. He seemed hurt and angry with me. But why? I'm sure I did not do anything wrong. Did I?
