Chapter 21

"Jaehyun! Stop being so fucking loud!" Taeyong whisper shouts as they stand outside Taeyong's bedroom door, with a sleeping Sungchan inside.

"I tripped! My bad!" Jaehyun says as Taeyong glares at him making the younger smirk.

"You curse so much now, means I'm rubbing off on you." Jaehyun smiles making Taeyong roll his eyes before he smacks his chest softly.

"Okay so I'll go in and wake him up, I'll light the candle and as soon as you hear me start singing happy birthday come in." Taeyong says and Jaehyun nods softly as he grips the balloons and Sungchan's gifts tightly.

"Okay, I'm going in." Taeyong says and reaches for the doorknob but stops and turns to Jaehyun.

"Thank you for helping me with this again." Taeyong says and Jaehyun smiles before pecking his lips softly.

"I was the one that insisted, no need to thank me." Jaehyun says making Taeyong smile before nodding his head softly and walks into the room. He places the small cake on the nightstand before climbing in the bed and snuggling up next to Sungchan.

"Wake up my birthday boy~" Taeyong sings softly into Sungchan's ear as he pets his hair softly as Sungchan gently stirs awake.

"Papa?"

Sungchan calls softly with his eyelids half opened. Taeyong just smiles softly before placing a soft kiss on the top of Sungchan's head.

"It's Yongie... Happy Birthday sleepy head." Taeyong says before attacking Sungchan with kisses making the toddler laugh as he tries to push Taeyong's face away.

"Look at you, my baby all grown up." Taeyong says as he feels the tears pool in his eyes as he looks down at Sungchan.

"No cry Yongie. Me big boy now!" Sungchan says making Taeyong pout as he tries to keep his tears from falling.

"Look I got you a little cake." Taeyong says as he reaches over to the bedside table and holds it up in front of Sungchan making the younger cheer. Taeyong places the candle in the center that reads '4' before lighting it.

"Happy birthday to you~ Happy birthday to you~" Taeyong starts to sing and pretty soon Jaehyun walks into the room singing along making Sungchan gasp as he sees all the presents he was carrying.

"Happy birthday dear Sungchan, happy birthday to you!" They finish as they clap and Sungchan's smile beams as Jaehyun sits on the bed.

"Make a wish!" Jaehyun says and Sungchan looks at the cake before looking at Taeyong, confusion written all over his face making his older brother laugh.

"If you want to make a wish, you have to think about something you really really want and then blow out the candle like this." Taeyong says before demonstrating making Sungchan nod before looking back at the cake. He closes his eyes and thinks for a second before opening his eyes and blowing out the candle making the two cheer.

"So what do you want first? To eat the breakfast and the cake? Or do you want to open presents first?" Taeyong asks as he pulls Sungchan into his lap and the younger thinks for a second before pointing at the gifts.

"Okay which one do you want to open first?" Jaehyun asks as he scoots closer to the two as Sungchan points at a random gift. They open all the ones Taeyong had gotten him before Jaehyun hands him his.

"Here, this is from me." Jaehyun says as he ruffles Sungchan's hair softly. Sungchan opens it and gasps once he sees the iron man action figure he had been wanting for a while.

"Happy Birthday, Mark told me you liked it." Jaehyun says making Taeyong smile.

"Sungchan what do you say?" Taeyong asks but both of them are startled when Sungchan jumps up and wraps his arms around Jaehyun's neck.
