Chapter 20
After going out with Ethan tons of times, Ethan is finally taking Hailey somewhere she still doesn't know. Ethan drove all the way to Phoenix Arizona. Both of them brought large suitcases. Large enough to provide them 2 months of clothes.
"Why can't you tell me where are we going?" Hailey questioned.
"It will not be a surprise if I'll tell you." Ethan replied.
Hailey sighed. "How long are we going to stay there again?"
"About a week. You brought a lot of clothes by the way." Ethan smiled teasingly.
"I don't know whether what type of clothing should I bring 'cause you didn't tell me where we are going, remember?"
Ethan chuckled.
"Is it a long drive? Can we stop or a while and eat some snacks?"
"Yes it is and I made some sandwiches before I left my house. You can grab some since I made them for you."
"Aww... How sweet of you." Hailey teased back.
Hailey grabbed some sandwiches and took a bite. The meat was fresh and the vegetables tasted great.
"Mmm... This tastes good." Hailey commented and nodded as she munched the sandwiches.
"Glad you like it." Ethan smiled while focusing on the road.
There was a silence for a while.
"Where are we going to stay in?" Hailey asked to break the silence.
"To some hotel," Ethan replied.
"I hope that it won't be cheap. I've waited for so long for this trip." Hailey moaned.
"I think that you'll like it." Ethan smiled as he looked at Hailey.

"We're here!" Ethan shouted to Hailey.
Hailey woke up frantically. "What the hell?! Don't do that!"
Ethan laughed at Hailey's reaction, "I'm sorry." Ethan still laughing and trying to catch his breath. "I'm just excited." Ethan smiled over Hailey.
Hailey simply nodded in reply and held her hand by her forehead.
"Are you okay?" Ethan asked as he grab Hailey's hand.
"Yes, yes. I'm okay. I'm just... tired." Hailey replied and took her hand back.
"I thought I scared you too much." Ethan teased as he opened the car's door.
"Shut up..."Hailey said but still smiling.
Ethan took their suitcases from the back of the car and brought it to the hotel's front door.
"Let's go. You'll need some rest." Ethan opened the door for Hailey and led her inside the hotel as he took the suitcases with him.
When they entered the hotel, Hailey looked around and said, "This doesn't look like a hotel."
"Well, it's actually..." Ethan was cut off by some guy.
"WELCOME!!" He shouted as he lifted his arms. "Welcome to Vista Ventana!" He shook Ethan's and Hailey's hand.
"My name is Adam Sanders. How may I help you?"
"We want to rent an apartment." Ethan replied with a smile.
"For how long?"
"For just a month."
"Okay, so that will be..." Adam took a good look at Ethan and Hailey. "$700" Adam finally said.
"Whoa, isn't that too expensive?" Hailey said.
"Okay, since you people seem to be nice, how about $650." Adam placed his arm in front of his chest and continued, "Take it or leave it."
Hailey was just about to argue with hime when Ethan decided, "We'll take it!"
