After the 3rd world War Canada,Mexico, and most of Central America's governments collapsed with others deciding to join the union the USA now found its self owning all of North America. South America united under one flag and marched North wishing to unite both America's under one big fascist empire. Despite just coming out of a war the US held them at there border.
(Ok here's where I have trouble with this story. I don't know jack shit about the military so America will have what it currently has in the real world just more advanced and with some mechs to make it even between Line Ark and America and a super weapon or two)

Arsenal birds
These massive Ariel fortresses were built after WW3 with only 2 ever being built Justice and Liberty and they mostly spend there days patrolling the costs of America with the only time that they ever diverge from their patrol is whenever they're needed for a battle. It's armaments mainly consist of missiles, lasers, and around 80 uavs that it carries under its wings.

Stonehenge
Located in the Nevada desert near Area 51 lies Stonehenge a massive base with 8 giant railcanons. This base was constructed before the hight of WW3 its main purpose was to shoot down as many nuclear missiles as it could before they hit the main land. But since then it's mostly been used as a anti-aircraft gun against the South American Confederacy or to shoot down asteroids that are approaching Earth
