We can see a Northstar hovering high above the clouds. "This is Viper I have a visual on the ruins, I have eyes on about 6 human sized combatants and 2 Titan sized Creatures."

"Copy that Viper, your cleared hot once the enemy has been delt with a QRF will come in, your orders are to protect them and keep an eye out for enemy reinforcements."

The Northstar raised its railgun in both hands and steadyed it, taking aim at one of the big abominations that looked like a mass of humans fused together writhing in agony. "Poor bastards" Viper pulled and held the trigger as the gun came to life, electricity gathering around the barrel.

Unknown ruins

"Come on move it, we have to get back in time for the 2nd wave."

One of the men turned his hood masking his face "if we need to get back in time then why are we even out here?"

"We're out here in hopes of finding any secrets that the ancients left behind that might help us in the upcoming raid."

Suddenly the leader jumped his head snapping around "whats wrongs" one of the hooded men asked.

"My perception magic just went off We're being watched, get those golems up!" the leader barked.

The two fleshy masses of poor souls the Theocracy had captured or kidnapped stood up the group was more unnerved when they heard a loud bang that sounded miles out.

"Are those cannons?"

"Don't be ridiculous how could they sneak cannons past the front."

There conversation was soon interrupted as two bolts of light directly hit there golems of flesh and sent blood and gore everywhere while also throwing up dust and throwing the men a few feet from where they once stood.

"What was that?"

"Must be the moon God himself striking at us, run get to the ruins."

Another bolt hit killing three of the men as the fourth was thrown as he made contact with the ground he landed wrong on his neck killing him instantly.

The fifth was lucky enough to get inside the ruins, he braced himself for another bolt but it never came instead the sound of chopping could be heard as four metal birds approached the ruins.

QRF Team Omega

As soon as the doors opened they poured out of the Osprey quickly securing the outside of the ruins and setting up a perimeter.

"You think these things are still alive?" One of the Omega members asked.

"If they are, double tap them death is better then what the hell ever happened to them." The team leader responded.

"This is Omega We're moving into the ruin now."

"Copy that Omega, Viper will be providing overwatch and inform you of any enemy movement outside of the ruin."

The team slowly made there way past the giant entrance if It wasn't for there NVG they wouldn't be able to see anything.

Omega was on high alert as they searched the compound. Soon Omega came to a fork in the hallway.

"We'll have to slit up, Jake,Kyle, and Alex are with-"

"Help!" A cry came from the corridor to their right. All the soliders intently snapped there attention to the right "god please someone help!"

The soilder named Jake broke formation and ran down the hall. His team following not that far behind but never actually catching up.

The team lost sight of Jake when he rounded a corner. Only for the sound of boots on metal to be replaced by gunfire.

The team broke out into a sprint as soon as they rounded the corner they saw Jake being slammed into the ground repeatedly by a 10 to 12 foot golem.

"Shit, it's got me!" Jake was slammed into the ground again this time coughing up blood as he made contact.

"Open fire!" Omega opened up on the mass of flesh there bullets having very little effect.

The golems smashed Jake into the ground, his body going limp the golem now turned its attention towards the rest of Omega and through Jake's body at them.

It missed by a few inches, as the body of there dead comrade splattered against the wall and let out a few sicking crunches.

"Stand back I'm throwing an incendiary" the team lead pulled the pin on a grenade and tossed it.

As soon as it made contact it started sinking into the golem until it finally disappeared into the flesh, the golem itself found this quite amusing as it made several cooing noises.

The abomination was soon cut off as the fiery explosion ripped it apart from the inside.

It's guttural screams filled the hallways as the team covered there ears.

The golem clawed at its chest in a desperate attempt the get the raging fire out.

The golem stopped moving its arms dangled at it's side and it collapsed to its knees before falling over completely.

The team leader let out a sigh before clicking the reserver on his radio. "Omega 4 is KIA command."

"Copy that Omega continue with the mission the clean up crew will handle the body."

"You heard the woman search everywhere for this goddamn worshipper."

Futher down the hall they found a pitch black room, as they searched the room with there NVGs one of the men found symbols on the floor.

"Come check this out, I've found something"

One of the team members bent down and took two fingers and ran them across the symbol. Lifting his hand up the tips of his gloves were coated in a purplish blue dust.

"Telaportation magic."

"Does that mean he's still here?"

"Could be or he could have telaported to another outpost."

"Shit" the team lead reached for his radio "Viper, any sign of enemy movement from up there?"

"Nope haven't seen anything."

"Ok spread out and take pictures of anything important and bag any technology that isn't tied down."

Some of the pictures command was getting sickened them the golems made up of poor souls. They would surely need to intervene.

As the US satellites monitored Theocracy ship movement they realized how they were getting the people for there rituals and experiments.

A single ship would travel to a less technology developed country, anchor itself off the coast and a small team would go in and kidnappe as many people as possible. There magic easily taking care of any threats to the operation.

Within a day American fleets had completely blocked off access to the island, blowing up any theocracy ships that tried to leave or enter. The entire operation was summarized by the admirals words "nothing gets on or off that island."

The US had official quarantined the island as they worked on trying to establish contact with the last city that still looked like it had sain humans.

Meanwhile American and Line Ark ambassadors made there way to a new nation far into the north. They were immediately stopped by a handful of military ship. But the armed metal ships that almost matched the Americans technology wasn't what made the ambassadors feel sick.

It was the red flag flying in the wind its sickle and sword on full display.
