Have you ever been so caught up in the world that you've forgotten about yourself? The depression hits over your misdeeds, the grudges and the gossip. You feel as though you've expended all your energy on something not worthwhile, but when faced with it again, it wins the fight. Your mouth runs off your bitterness, the words beginning to sting. They sing a song of burning energy, the hatred coming fast. You've never felt more alive at the words that flow from your tongue, but the moment that the conversation ceases, you're drained-an empty shell. Nothing at all excites you, the will to live well extinct. You've fought your bitter fight, poisoning all around. It's sucked the life right out of you; no energy left in limbs. When someone asks what's wrong with you, you give them a ghostly smile; for you do not know what has happened, only that it's won. The words have taken their bite, leaving you cold and drained. You feel the loss keenly, yet cannot help yourself. But the moment you are happy once more, the sun begins to shine, and we all know that the vampires live in the murky, darkened tombs.
