Scarlett Lawson, or at least that was what she was called before. Before she was betrayed by some of the people she was meant to trust the most, placed in the worst predicament she could have imagined and sent away to a whole different world.
But no...

Calix Radcliff POV
"Why did you wake me up again?" I rolled my eyes at my best friend, he had broken into my apartment at seven on a Saturday morning to do grocery shopping, of all things. Sure I was a workaholic, but weekends were my off days when I didn't bother about my company and just had a rest.
"Because I needed to get groceries." Silas Rothwell was full of bullshit, but I was too tired to deal with all of this and just followed him around the insanely large shop. "Which chips do you want?"
I chuck a couple of the different options into the cart, chucking the ones I wanted to try into a cart of my own. I might as well take advantage of this situation, even though I had people to shop for me on a normal basis. I take one off the aisle, reading the ingredients on the back when I feel someone bump into me, my hand immediately goes out to catch them when I catch a glimpse of familiar platinum blonde hair in my peripheral vision.
"Scarlett." I murmur under my breath, and she looks up at me quickly, her beautiful eyes filled with alarm before quickly noticing who I was. She stands up out of my grasp and brushes down her outfit in a way to try to make her already perfect outfit more presentable.

"Mr Radcliff." She whispers softly. "I'm sorry to bump into you, I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking."
"You need to be more careful." I frown, she could hurt herself. "And I thought we agreed that you would call me Calix."
Her pale cheeks flush red, blushing a bit.
"Thank you for catching me, Calix." She smiled, looking past me with a frown and then amusement. "Is that your friend?" I turned around to where she was pointing, seeing Silas talking to a dark-skinned woman around our age. I nod and she rolls her eyes. "And you were dragged here?"
"How did you know?" I was genuinely confused.
"Part of my job to notice things and make an accurate conclusion, you look put together, but I can still tell you're tired, and they look like they are hitting it off, so I'm guessing one of them mentioned a grocery store trip and then the other said something about coming with a friend there at the same time. So the other brought a friend, so they could flirt with each other without having a third wheel, plus Imogen knows you're my client."
"And Silas knows you're my lawyer." I rolled my eyes, I somehow knew Scarlett was spot on. She was the best at her job,, and it was the reason I was so persistent that she be my lawyer. Slowly the two of us move towards our friends and I clear my throat, causing them both to turn towards us.
