Kianna has been in bed all day with her "in my feelings" playlist on repeat, still rethinking about everything that happened at the party.
How could you play me baby You did me shady (you did me shadyyy) All of the options I had I just wanted love I can't keep letting you play I had enough.
She sung along to "How could you play me" as she sat in her bed eating ice cream
She turned and looked over at the door as she heard a knock
Her mom, Amaya and her sister, Mariyah, both entered the room "Hey girly how you doing" Her mom asked as she went to go sit next to her, as Mariyah followed behind
"I'm okay, I guess" Kianna spoke
The truth was, Kianna was trying and doing as much as possible to get her mind off of Khalil but every little thing reminded her of him.
Amaya looked at her daughter with sadness in her eyes as she wrapped her arms around her feelings tears for her daughter eyes fall onto her shoulder
"I know, I know" Amaya said rubbing Kianna's back
Mariyah joined in on the hug reassuring her sister everything is going to be alright.
They stayed like this for a couple minutes until they pulled away.
"Well im going to let you be but Zay should be here in a bit to check up on you"
"Okay" Kianna said as she wiped the tears off her cheek
"It's going to be alright my baby, you live and you learn"
"Yeah I know" Kianna said sighing.
"I love you girl, it's going to be ok, healing is a process that takes time" Mariyah said to Kianna as she hugged her one last time
"I love yall so much, I'm forever grateful for y'all"
Amaya walked over to Kianna and placed a kiss on her head saying, "if you still need to all or want company I'm here just call me"
"Ok." Kianna spoke
"I love you" Amaya said one last time before walking out the room.
"Alright im gone too, text me if you need me I'll be downstairs" Mariyah said.
