"Blood hell, how many dresses have you got?" Mason asked amused as Skye walked down the hallway to get to him, she had attached the second part of her dress ready for the reception.

She smirked "Just two and a birthday suit." Mason's eyes widened as he blushed making her laugh, even after all these years he was so easy to fluster.

"I'll have to see that later." She smiled kissing his lips once again before connecting hands with him, listening for their cue to walk out and head to the table they would sit at in the reception.

Once they where seated at the head table, dinner was served. It was normal food, bacon rings for starters before moving onto steak and chips for the main meal before finishing with ice cream and wedding cake.

Their cake was beautiful. It was 3 layers of vanilla cake covered in white icing and dusted in edible gold. Edible gold leaves traveled up the cake but hidden in the leaves was things the couple enjoyed like, football and F1. It was better then they thought it would be and they love it:

After a while the speeches started and Lewis stood up "When Skye was a little girl, I remember her saying that she didn't want to get married. She was dead set against it, even with Lucas, but when she met Mason, that all changed. For the first time she mentioned what her dream wedding would be. I could tell her and Mason would end up together. They both changed each other's lives for the best.

When I first met Mason, I was caseous of him dating my little girl. After Lucas, I was even more nervous about Skye dating again then I was when she first started dating boys." Scattered laughs filled the room as Skye leaned into Mason side so she could look up at her dad.

"I have to admit. I definitely did my research on Mason. I stalked his social media platforms and googled everything about him, and all I found and saw was a good man." Lewis smiled at Mason who smiled as he kissed Skye's head.

"I met Mason after one of the races. He was charming and knew how to act, I remember the way he look at Skye like she was the only person in the world. It was beautiful to see after she looked so unhappy for so long.

I truly saw how much Skye meant to Mason when she crashed in 2022. He didn't leave her side. Everyday, 24/7, he was there, holding her hand and yelling Skye he was there with her. It broke my heart when I listened to him telling Skye that she could stop fighting if she was in to much pain. That's when I truly saw how much Mason loved Skye, he would rather her leave the world peacefully then live in whatever pain she was in." Skye's eyes widened as she looked at Mason, he only nodded to confirm it was true. Her eyes watered as she kissed his lips softly, she hadn't known that she was had she had stayed and thought.

"Mason, thank you for looking after my baby girl and giving her world, I couldn't think of anyone better for Skye to marry. I'm proud to call you my son in law." Everyone cheered as Skye stood up and hugged her dad, tears slipping from her eyes slowly as she thanked him for such a beautiful speech.

Mason and Lewis shared an embrace and some kind words before they sat down, the footballer passed his wife a tissue so she could wipe her tears.

Next was Declan's speech "Here we go." Mason mumbled under his breath as he noticed Declan smirk as he stood up. Skye giggled quietly - she was looking forward to this speech.

"Mason Mason Mason, where do I begin? I've know Mase since where six, I've watched the girls come and go and had to comfort the kid during heart break." Mason scoffed quietly, reminding Declan that he was younger out for the pair, laughter filled the tables at the pairs small argument.

"All those amongst you who know Skye well will know that she is a wonderful and caring person. She deserves a good husband. Thank God Mason married her before she found one." Mason groaned again as everyone (including Skye) laughed, she kissed his cheek softly as she held his hand.
