Chapter 24
I slowly reopened the door to find the robot man still there.
"Are you done?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'm good," I responded.
"Listen, Olwen got captured by some criminals and she needs your help!" the robot man insisted.
"How do we know this isn't a trap!" Flayn exclaimed.
"Does Olwen matter to you?" he asked.
"Yeah, she does, which is why you're using her," Flayn hissed.
"He's not lying," Freya said.
"Huh!?" we all exclaimed.
"Don't you hear the care and love in his voice?" she told us.
"Fine, we'll go!" Flayn huffed.
"I'm coming too," another voice said.
An older man emerged from one of the bedrooms.
"Tell, you're coming!?" Freya said shocked.
"I know all the mercenary routes in the city," he responded.
"What are we waiting for, let's go!" I said.
I hoped Olwen was ok...
