I Hate Myself

Henry's POV 

We had lunch in silence. Mr. Rockfield (lawyer) called and asked me and Drew to come to court to complete some formalities. Kathy is sentenced 30 years with possibility of parole after 15 years. I'm disappointed with her punishment but there is nothing we could do. She deserves much more, playing with Jason's heart, betraying him... I respect law.

Jo is sleeping, Jason will be home. I went to court with Drew and finished the formalities. I hope we don't have to come again.

By the time we reached home it was 5pm. Judson was home. He is giving me murderous glares.

"How is Jo?" Drew asked

"She is still sleeping" Jason said

Maria gave coffee and snacks. Jo would be hungry as soon as she wakes up

"Keep snacks and juice on Jo's nightstand" I told Maria

Maria came after sometime and said "Josna madam is calling you all"

We went to our room, she is sitting on bed leaning on headboard 

"I will die with boredom" she said 

"Let's watch some movies" I suggested

"John wick series" Jo said 

"How many times do you watch that?" Drew asked 

"I love that movies... anyway last part is going to be released so it's would be nice to watch" Jo said

I love that movie, didn't know she likes

"What did you like that movie" I asked 

"Lot of action sequences, Keanu Reeves killing people with pencil... it's amazing that he does everything for Car and dog..." she said 

I played John Wick movie...we all settled in sofa and chair... Jo laid down on bed. Half way through the movie she slept, woke up when the movie was almost finished

"Are you hungry?" I asked 

She nodded

I was about to call Maria

"Maria won't be here today, Tell Alex" she said 

I called Alex and asked to bring dinner here.

We had dinner.

Mrs. Sheldon called 

'Mr. Hansford, I'm going home, I have family emergency, will be back in two days' she said 

'No you can't, come back' i said 

'I'm sorry Mr. Hansford, my daughter is admitted in hospital' 

'Do anything...'

"What happened?" Jo asked 

"Mrs. Sheldon is not coming, her daughter is in hospital"

"Give me phone"

"Mrs. Sheldon, what happened? How is your daughter?" Jo asked 

....

"Take care, let me know if you need anything" Jo said 

"Her daughter is in hospital and you want her to come here! What's wrong with you?" Jo scolded me

"You need help, Maria is also not home..."

"I'm fine, I don't need any help" she said 

"Doctor said bedrest and you might be drowsy today...you definitely need someone"

"Everyone will have family... don't disturb Mrs. Sheldon or Maria... I'm fine"

"Look at you, sleeping whole day, it's because you are drowsy. You need..." I tried to tell. What if she trips? I want someone to be in her room. It should have been me.

"I will stay here" Drew said 

"I'm fine Drew.."

"I promised to take care of you and baby... I will sleep here... No arguements" he said 

Jo looked at me... that look...

I looked away

"I'm sleepy... go away Henry..." she said angrily

"I mean all of you... I will call you if I need help Drew" she said 

"What did I tell? No arguments! I will sleep on couch... it looks so comfortable as if it's for  sleeping" he said 

Yes it's comfortable, I slept there for two months

I came out of the room. Jason and Judson followed me

"Henry..." Judson tried to talk

"Not now," i said 

"When do you want to talk?" He shouted 

"Please, leave me alone for sometime" i begged. I'm not in a condition to talk

He looked at me

"Don't do anything stupid and hurt yourself and everyone ..." he said leaving
