Jennie looked at him with a blank look. Last night was one of her best nights of her life in years. It was the first time in five years that she could sleep for that long. She rarely slept well at night. If sge fall asleep, nightmares or even an assassination would wait for her. She always had to be vigilant, otherwise, that was the end of her.

In business world, she had offended way too many people that allowed her to be on top in just three years. She had to be ruthless to survive. Fortunately, her enemies in the business world were taken care of and her father did well in hiding her identity so that no one from the other side would come looking for her.

Even if she was not in danger anymore, she still could not sleep well. She found out yesterday that the man beside her helped her sleep well.

Lisa saw complicated emotions in her eyes and couldn't help feeling soft for her.

"Wifey, when we get to the house, I will cook for you okay?"

Jennie raised her head met his soft and pampering eyes. Her heart was uncomfortable, and she subconsciously blurted out. "Okay."

Lisa's deep eyes brightened. His tight face suddenly eased and his lips bent gently into a smile. Jennie didn't speak anymore. Although her face was still indifferent, she couldn't help but feel her heart soften.

A few minutes later, Lisa drove the car to a high-end community and parked the car into the parking lot. When they reached his apartment, Lisa tried reaching for his keys in his pocket but wss having s tough time finding it with all the bags he was holding.

Looking at his anxious face, Jennie said. "Let me help you." She reached out and looked for the key in his back pocket. Lisa couldn't help but swallow the lump in his throat. He never thought he was an indulgent person, but in the face of his little temptress, he couldn't control himself. He tries to stabilize his body. With a hoarse voice,he couldn't help but ask. "Have you found it?"

The soft scattered on the man's face, showing his perfectly handsome facial features. For the first timd, she paid attention to the man's features. She had to say, ge was very handsome man. She never really paid attention to him,but even Kai's, whom she had loved, couldn't compare to him. Kai's was cold and there was only a murderous aura around his body, but this man exudes a gentle and warm aura.

"Yeah, I found it." Lisa smiled embarrassedly because he was getting anxious. He did not even think about searching his back poket.

He took the key and opened the apartment door. He turned on the lights and waited until Jennie came in. She walked in and looked at the structure of the apartment. It was not large. It had 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a kiving room, a study room, and a balcony. It was the perfect apartment for a family of three.

When they got to the bedroom, she was impressed to see that the room was neat and clean. She could see the neon light of the city through the big floor to ceiling window.

'The night view from here would be excellent' she thought.

By the time they finished packing, it was already late, so Lisa cooked dinner for them. After they finished eating, Jennie went to take a shower. Jennie finished getting ready for a bed and walked to the window. She opened the curtain and looked at the city's neon lights and high-rise buildings.

Meanwhile, Lisa went to the bathroom to take a shower after being so uncomfortable with the sweat on his body from all the activities he did today.

Jennke stood by the window thinking about how it has already been 5 years. She had changed a lot in these years. Her favorite time of the day was still night, though. At night she could rest for a while, think about her mother, think about how she hated that man, and think about her child. Her poor baby.
