Chapter 29

Ross' POV
Where the hell is Laura and Scarlett ? I've been calling them and haven't received any answer yet. I went out the church and walked towards my car. I started the engine and drove a little fast.

It was hard to find Laura and Scarlett. It was so traffic and raining hard that I barely can't see anything. I mean it's so unusual. Raining in California ? Not really.

It has been an hour and I'm really worried , because I still haven't found them. Where could they be possibly be ? It was useless. I parked my car and started looking for them. I'm not loosing hope.

Ross: LAURA ! SCARLETT !

People looked weirdly at me but whatever. Still no sign of any of them.
I sat down on the bench. I'm just tired. But that doesn't prevent me from looking for them.

I started walking and it's already getting dark. I can't go back there without them. This is just pointless. Whatever. I don't care. Even though my feet are killing me. I may not be wearing heels but these dress shoes are tight.

I feel like the beach would help me with this. I just need a timeout. Here I go. The walk was just very quiet and just plain old boring. As I approach the beach I see white ruffled dress. Wait what ? That doesn't make sense at all. I check it out and there were two girls.

Oh crap. It's Laura and Scarlett. Laura was not really broken. She's awake. But she can't stand on her two feet. Scarlett's unconscious. How am I suppose to carry both of them ?

Ross: Laura can you walk ?

Laura: Seriously Ross ? I can't even stand.

Ross: What happened to Scarlett ?

Laura: I don't know both of us were hit by a bus. Thankfully we're not dead.

Ross: I don't see any bus.

Laura: I think it drove away.

Ross: Okay do you have your phone ?

Laura: No. I left it in my purse. Where's your phone ?

Ross: It's in my car.

Laura: How about you get your car and we'll stay here.

Ross: Laura I can't just leave you two here.

Laura: Bring us to a chair or bench then Scarlett and I will wait there.

Ross: Okay. One by one. I can't carry you both at the same time. I'll take Scarlett first. (Carries Scarlett)

Laura's POV
I'm glad Ross saw us. No one was too kind to help us. That's why Ross is a great guy. I'm lucky that I know him. I mean look at those beautiful kind eyes, well built body and that million dollar smile. How can you not check out this guy.

Ross: LAURA !

Laura: Hmm ? What ? Oh yeah. Carry me.

Ross: Hop on my back.

Laura: How do I do that ?

Ross: Ugh fine. (Picks her up)

Laura: Thank you. Okay put me down slowly.

Ross: Take good care of Scarlett. I'll be right back.

Laura: Yeah yeah. Just hurry up.

Laura: Can you bring me home ?

Ross: No. You have to go to the doctor.
