This time it only took her a split second to know she had wet in her sleep. However, the more pressing and annoying feeling was the pounding headache, spinning room, queasy stomach, and insane thirst in her throat.

Steph looked around her room for a glass or bottle of water, but was disappointed when all she found saw an empty glass. She got out of bed and stood up, but had to pause for a moment to let the room stop spinning.

She was halfway down the stairs when she heard the voices of her parents in a heated exchange. Steph ignored the conversation as she was more focused on the pain in her head.

Candace and Randall stopped their conversation when they head Steph walk towards the kitchen. Both were a little uncomfortable when they saw their adult daughter standing in the kitchen with nothing more than her black camisole and an obviously soaked diaper.

As she entered the kitchen Steph made brief eye contact with both parents before averting their gaze. The room remained silent as Steph took two Advils and drank a full glass of water. She filled her refilled her glass and left the kitchen.

Her parents resumed their conversation, but in a much quieter tone as she made her way up the stairs. Steph closed the door behind her and slumped into bed. She was trying to find a comfortable position before she heard a knock on the door.

Still feeling ashamed she chose to ignore it and turned away from the door, but unfortunately for her, Candace walked in anyway.

"Hey sweetie." Her mother greeted. "How're you feeling?"

Steph, unsure of what to say let out a small groan.

"That bad, huh?" Candace said as she sat down on the bed. Steph curled up.

"We're not mad at you Steph." Candace said putting her hand on the girl. "Or disappointed. We're just worried."

Steph remained still as her mother's words fell of deaf ears.

"Look, I'm going to work from home today okay? Your dad is gonna be at the church, but I'll be here if you need anything." Candace said patting the girl. "Speaking of which, did you want me to change you again before going back to sleep? We noticed that you were... in need of one."

"I can do it." Steph said feeling embarrassed. "I can do it myself mom."

Relieved that she got some kind of response from the girl Candace stood up. "Get some rest and sleep your hangover away okay? I'll make some soup and breakfast foods for you."

"Thanks mom." Stephanie said as Candace walked out the door.

Once the door was closed Steph tossed off her blanket so she could change herself and looked down just to realize why her parents could tell she was wet. She wasn't wearing any thing to cover her obviously swollen and stained diaper.

Not having the capacity to care, she went to her closet and grabbed the first diaper she could find and took off her current one. As she unfolded her new one, she realized that she had nothing to wipe or clean herself with. She cracked her door open and peeked out. With the coast was clear, she stealthily shuffled to her washroom.

She stepped into the tub, grabbed  the shower head and turned on the shower. In her haste she forgot how cold the water was and blasted her waist and legs with freezing water.

The sudden drop in temperature shocked her, she shuddered in response and dropped the shower head, causing the showerhead to douse her body and face with freezing water. She used her hand to block the stream and grabbed the showerhead.

Once she had it under control she stood there drenched and shivering until the water reached an acceptable level. Steph looked at herself and realized something. She was still wearing yesterday's camisole which meant that she had not showered since before yesterday's party. Seeing as how she was already soaked and in need of warmth, Steph decided she might as well shower.
