What's a soulmate? (kay flock x dougie b)

Kevin's Pov 

The line went silent for a minute making my heart race. When doug described what a soulmate was and how it didn't need to be romantic i knew right then and there doug was my soulmate. It makes since my whole life he's been the one thing I've been sure about he's the one person who can turn a rainy day into a day that the sun wouldn't stop shining. 

"Really?" Doug asks after the silence. "Yeah i believe so" I say with a small smile. It wasn't ever a doubt in my mind doug's the one person ion play bout and everyone knows that. We both help each other and believe in each other when nobody else does or when nobody else would. 

"Well then you better keep that person close cause not everyone is lucky enough to find theirs" Doug says. "Trust me I'm not ever letting them go word to my dead they staying by my side for the rest of my life" I say meaning it. I don't wanna tell him I think he's my soulmate just yet cause ion want him to take it the wrong way. 

Knowing him he most likely thinks I'm talking bout rachael. "Kay kay can you promise me something?" Doug asks and I laugh at the nickname. A few people and a few of our friends have made fun of the nicknames we have for each other I do admit if I was someone else I'd probably laugh to. 

"What?" I ask. "Promise me that we'll stay the same. That we'll always care about each other more than anything and be here for each other" Doug says. "I promise nothing could ever come between us" I say meaning it. Nothing could ever come between what we have when we get girlfriends we don't care bout them as much as we care bout each other.
