BRIELLE

*7 years later.*

The smell of food and warm drinks fill the family and friends box in the New York Devils arena.

The game finished a while ago, the New York Devils winning. So everyone sat in here is just waiting for their family, husband, boyfriend, friend or whatever to come through from the locker rooms.

There's a few people I know in here, my brothers wife, some of the teammates girl-friends. The only one I really talk to is Delancy, seeing as we're practically family now.

We met in college, bonded over a secret and have been best friends ever since. Having dates with the little ones and having drinks when everyone goes to bed.

I look around for the flash of brown hair and smile when I see her stood by the door where her dad will come out of any minute.

It doesn't take long for the players to come out, waving at the little one on my lap as they pass by.

My husband comes into view a minute later, his hood hanging over his head as he dresses in sweatpants and a hoodie. His usual outfit after he plays a match, seeing as soon as he gets home all he wants to do is jump in bed and have a cuddle.

I watch as our little girl spots him, and then jumps out on him. Just like she does every time we come here.

Gray pretends to be scared, putting a hand over his heart and pulling his four year old daughter in for a hug.

Smiling at the exchange, her entire face lights up as he kisses her all over her face and tickles her side. Which makes her giggles fill the whole room.

My husband carries her over here, smiling down at me as he looks at the small boy sat by my feet and then to the one on my lap.

He leans down to my level, his eyes flicking between, his daughter, his two sons, me, and my baby bump.

My bump isn't that big, I'm only three months along, but that doesn't stop Gray from being the most protective person ever. Like usual.

"How's my two boys?" He asks, looking at the eleven month old on my lap, and the nearly two boy sat by my foot playing with his toy.

"Good!" Our little girl says, giggling as she makes her usual jokes. That mostly make zero sense, but we laugh along with her.

"You're not my boys, you're my girl," Gray tells her, tickling her side again, making her squirm and squeal underneath him.

"Mummy help me!" Sofia screams, holding out her arms towards me.

Keeping a hold of our little boy, Arlo, I grab onto Sof's arm and pull her towards me.

Gray let's go of her and she runs into my side and hugs me, hiding from her daddy as he grins at her.

We had Sof in our Junior year in college, it was a surprise. But it worked out, he finished college, got into the NHL and then we had our first boy Silas, and then our second Arlo.

Gray's lips meet mine as he rests a hand on my baby bump, he likes to believe we're having another girl, but I think it's a boy.

From my mother's intuition.

I guessed our last two correctly, so I'm just hoping I've got this one right as well. Just so I can rub it in his face when we find out.
