It was Spring 1967. The birds sang, flowers were in bloom, children played throughout the peaceful small town in Indiana. Hawkins, Indiana.

All things expected to be normal. The Brenner's have been in this town for seven years after... the incident which ended them to this town.

New school, new people, new aura in the air. Cordelia felt a little bit of peace but she didn't dwell on it.

On this very day, the twelve year old girl was sitting outside of the house on the stairs writing and drawing in her journal. That was her dream, to be a writer or an artist.

Her walls, the color of white with traces of pencil markings of flowers drawn with yellow paint. Yellow flowers are her favorite. All kinds of flowers too but as long as they're yellow.

While drawing, the girl gets annoyed by a bee flying around her face. Bzzz. Bzzz. The annoying sound irritated the girl as she tried to hold in her powers but ended up letting them loose as the bee was shocked by red energy and fell onto the step in front of her.

Cordelia had looked frantically around to make sure nobody saw. She sighed in relief as a car pulled into the driveway across from her.

Mother, father, daughter, and a son. Such a perfect family isn't it. Everybody present and happy in their life. Hooray!

The family entered the blue house as Cordelia put her journal down to get her father. "Dad, there's new people across the street."

"So?"

"So can we go over to meet them?"

Martin Brenner sighed as he got up and brought his daughter across the street to see their new neighbors. "Why are you interested in them and not by the others in this town?"

"I'M INTERESTED IN OTHER PEOPLE HERE!"

"Then why don't you invite them- other people over one day or hang out with them since you're always writing or drawing, kiddo?" Cordelia huffed as she glared at her father before ringing the doorbell.

"And I do have friends, dad. I just don't want to get too attached to them, ya know." Cordelia whispered to her dad before the door opened to reveal a dirty blonde haired man.

"Hi, sir! My daughter here has told me we have new neighbors. So we thought to come over and introduce ourselves."

The dirty blonde haired man smiled as he let us in their new house. Fancy. Must've been brought down by someone in their family.

"Virginia, kids, come down here! We have our first guests!" The man said as the rest of his family join him downstairs.

"Oh- sorry forgot to introduce myself. I'm Victor Creel. This is my wife, Virginia and my daughter, Alice. My son- Henry!"

The young boy rushed down the stairs, looked like he was distracted. Well being in a house like this of course you'd get distracted.

"S-sorry was looking around..."

"It's alright, son. Like I said, this is my son, Henry. It's a pleasure to meet you Mr..."
