"Don't be silly! I've got it-"
"Please, Jin, I want to help," she assured him. He eyed her for a moment before he gave her a goofy grin.
"Okay, fine. But don't tell Namjoon! He'll be mad that I made our guest do chores."
She giggled, watching as Jin opened the dishwasher and started to load in the dirty plates and cutlery, copying him after observing for a moment.
"So. First ever breakfast? How was it?"
She grinned at Jin. "Amazing."
Jin smiled. "Yeah, Jungkookie is a good cook, but you just wait til I get behind that oven. I know Namjoon gave you some of my homemade soup yesterday, but that was just a teaser. You'll see, noona."
She giggled. Jin was ridiculously handsome to the point that it might be intimidating, and yet he made her feel so comfortable, like she'd been his friend for years, and not just observing him from above.
Something about him put her at ease. Unlike a certain other bandmate, who made her stomach flip and her heart race every time he so much as looked in her direction.
She remembered her words from earlier. It feels so nice to be around him.
God, she was an idiot. Couldn't she have controlled herself a little more? After all, he was her... leader? Guardian? She didn't even know.
What she did know was that he was looking after her, even when he didn't have to. And that made her so unbelievably grateful, that she would do anything for him.
A sudden thought hit her, and she paused her cleaning.
"Jin? Do you... do you think you could teach me?"
He looked at her and down at the dirty dish in her hand. "You're doing a great job, noona!"
"No," she giggled. "Can you teach me to... to make food?"
Jin paused and looked at her, his eyes sparkling. "Really? You wanna learn?"
She nodded.
He beamed. "Of course! I would love to have an assistant to teach about the culinary arts."
Her brow furrowed. "Culinary arts?"
He placed a hand on her shoulder. "You have much to learn from me, young grasshopper."
