There was a girl that hated the moon,
as it reminded her so much of him
Full of imperfections,
yet still so beautiful and a pleasure to watchHe's as beautiful as the moon,
yet as bright as the sun
A boy who so brightly shoneSomeone who
always smile so bright,
until he grownHe was the moon,
and yet he felt so cold
He was someone,
who she tried so hard to hold
Grasping every inch of their memories,
until all that's left were mysteriesHe was the moon.
Someone who travelled
so far away,
until all his innocence
and emotions went astrayAnd so their memories
and love uselessly lay
somewhere far, far away.
