"Problems"

Being a child
is where problems used to be mild,
and the only thing that makes you sob
is getting a tiny bruise

Being a teen
is where things go wrong
because all that matters
is being able to belong

And once you hit eighteen,
that's where you start
to douse yourself
with caffeine,
the only thing important
is passing your papers on time

Being the best is simply better
than being happy
because what's the point
of being happy
when you're not the best?

Being an adult
is where you realise
that problems in life
is much harder than before,
to the point it makes you wish
you don't wanna live anymore

and it makes you wish
you can go back from before
because back then the problems
could easily still be ignored

Passing away
simply feels like laying on top
of a bouquet
You can finally breathe in peace
because you know you're about to
go somewhere faraway.
