"Someone I Hate"

I remember the day
I started hating you.

You were someone
who I once hold dear,
only for you to inflict fear

You always pointed out my flaws,
grinning stupidly as if you want
some kind of applause.

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you
how could you forget me so easily?
you only came to me,
for your awful convenience.

Never did I judge you,
nor hate you,
until you made me
wanna kill you.

———

Never had I once wished
for your death,
but never had you wished
for my happiness.

but even so
I love you,
I love you,
I love you

I love you like how
murderers love killing.
loving you is painful,
yet so thrilling.

oh why, oh why
am I willing,
to die for you.

- why is hate so similar to love?

A/n: this is the second part of my poetry series 'Someone I Know'! personally, I think this was a tiny bit better than the firstt part, but the reason I wanted to post this quickly was because I wanted to post the third part as soon as possibleee heuehue.
