"Focus," Kaeya whispered.

"I'm focused," Albedo retorts, obviously lying to himself. There's a deep furrow in his eyebrows as he continues to scribble down notes and as he finishes, he releases a deep sigh.

"What's got you all bothered?" Kaeya asked, leaning on his seat's backrest with his arms behind his head.

Albedo hadn't told any of his friends about you yet, except to Alice and Klee and they both have grown very fond of you. Should he keep you a secret first? Maybe he was scared of the fact that you two may part and he's already told everyone about you. Everyone would start worrying.

But, he also doesn't want to keep you a secret. He wants to tell the world how in love he was with you. A pink blush would spread around his cheeks just by daydreaming about you!

"Nothing, I just wanna go home." He says instead. It's a half-truth, he didn't tell Kaeya the entire thing but that's sure enough to satisfy him.

Not long after, the bells soon signaled the sign of dismissal. Albedo quickly said goodbye to his friends and walked home... skipped? No, ran. He misses you dearly after a week of exams and studying, you didn't allow him to text you or call whenever he was busy studying just so he could focus.

He was thankful, of course, but it would've been better if he could talk to you here and there.

He checks his phone and sees the few messages you sent him from the past hours.

y/n : HIIII UR EXAMS R OVER TODAY RIGHT

y/n : im gonna bet you ran home to me

y/n : IM RIGHT ARENT I BAHAHAH

y/n : thats good cause i missed u too

y/n : call me when u get home <3 i love you

y/n : have i said i love you

He smiles before typing you a reply in return.

albedo : hello love, i'm home

albedo : i miss you

That's all he says before he presses the call button. He sits on his bed while a few rings pass by, waiting patiently to see your face on the screen. Once you answered, it was just a close up of between your eyes and your forehead. The sight made him chuckle.

"Heellooo," You lengthened, groggy and deep, sleep still lacing your tone. Eyes closed, still very sleepy.

"Did I call at the wrong time?" Albedo questions, covering his smile a bit. You shift in your bed to face upwards, lifting the phone a bit more for him to see your morning face. You shake your head.

"Perfect time actually." You joke with a small smile, a huff of breath coming out of your nose as a laugh.

"What time is it there?" He asks.

"About... one in the morning. I was actually waiting for you, but then I fell asleep." You rub at your eyes.

He softens at your words, melting even. He can feel the heat coming to his cheeks, resulting to him covering his face with his hand. The sight made you chuckle. "What? I didn't say anything funny!"
