It's been a few weeks since we found out that Josh had gotten the role on Broadway. He has to start rehearsing in a few months, so he is moving soon. It's really sad. But I can't tell him that. It's also sad because the truth is - I don't think we can last. No way, we can last being 2,797 miles away for a year. I am so happy for him, though. He should follow his dreams. We've been spending as much time as we can together until he moves. He's done with hsmtmts and is moving to his apartment in NYC. I was lying on his lap on the couch, us both on our phones until he said, "let's release a song."

"What?"

"A duet, to release on Valentine's Day."

I smiled, "I feel bad, I don't have publicity and I don't want it just because I sang with you. You know."

"But you wouldn't be getting attention because you sang with me, but because you are an amazing singer. You already have almost 10,000 followers on Instagram from 3 unreleased songs. Think about if you released a song."

I hesitated for a second and then smiled, "you're right. I'm down."

"Really???"

"Yes!"

He gave me a tight hug and grabbed our songwriting notebooks and pencils. He handed me mine and sat down next to me.

We sat there for about 2 hours.

"I have no idea." I said, dropping my pencil.

"Me neither, I didn't think this would be so hard since I love you so much."

"Same." I frowned.

"Hey, since neither of us can think of something...why don't we make one of our singular songs a duet?"

"Oh my gosh, you are so SMART. Let's duet Heaven is You."

"Or Gross."

"Or Anyone Else."

"Or L-O-V-E."

I laughed, "Josh, we could make a MASHUP."

"OH MY GOSH, Y/N." He gave me a hug and smothered me in kisses on the head, "bless your beautiful smart mind."

I grinned, but then remembered: he's leaving soon. That will always be at the back of my mind. I might only have a few more months with my amazing boyfriend. "Let's make a mashup, I can listen to it when I miss you in New York." I gave him a sad smile.

He put a pillow over his face and groaned, "don't remind me."
