"I never thought that I would have another favorite yakisoba either than the peyoung yakisoba I always get..."

All of them looked at Chifuyu, noticed how the boy's expression changed to somewhat sad. All of them stayed silence, looking at the boy who noticed he made the air between them tensed. "I mean... This taste really good." Chifuyu tried to cover his sadness by stating that.

"When it comes to May's cooking, I admit that she has talent in cooking compared to me." Hinata jokingly said, trying to lighten up the mood as she gives a smack on the silver haired girl's back. The unexpected force that was implanted on her back made her flinched. May holds in the pain, hiding the fact she was in pain.

"Chifuyu..." Takemichi mumbles his partner's name under his breath, knowing that the yakisoba reminded him of Baji. Chifuyu who noticed his partner's sympathetic expression, suddenly a smile forms on his lips. "Sorry, was a bit emotional for a second, but I'm fine." He stated, reassure Takemichi who is worried about him.

Without the two boys realising, May who sat at the opposite side silently stares at them, watching and overheard the two conversations.

"Erm... Pardon me." The four of them automatically pans their head in union to see Naoto standing at the side with a book on his hand. He then continues his unfinished sentence. "May-san, is it okay for me to ask you now?" Naoto shyly asked.

May nods her head and response. "Sure."

The little boy then made his way towards the girl as he sat beside her. The two sparks a conversation about the little boy's homework as the others watches them while enjoying the yakisoba.

"So you are still confused with the word 'are' and 'is'... Just remember that the word 'are' is usually used in a phrase that has more than one subject, which can be also indicated as plural. Then, 'is'..."

"'Is' is used in a sentence where there's only one subject?" Naoto finishes the girl's statement, making May nod her head.

"Also, remember that the word 'you' always use 'are' and for 'I' always use is... Okay?" May added. Naoto writes down the girl's statement at the side of his exercise book while nodding his head in understood. "Now I get it, thank you May-san." The little boy thanked May as he stood up and went straight to his room to do corrections.

The rest who were watching May teaching the little boy lowkey amused by how May made English grammar looks ten times easier. Hinata then smiles. "No wonder why Naoto prefers to ask you questions about his homework rather than me, you guys have good chemistry as if you two were real siblings." Hinata said as May decided to tease her friend a bit by saying...

"That's because you were always busy being with Takemichi." Hinata and Takemichi flushed in red as they were mentioned in May's statement.

Chifuyu who understands what the girl meant tried to hold back his laughter as Hinata hits May, trying to deny even though what May said was all true.

The four of them had a great time fooling around and chatting with each other. Out of the blue, Hinata stands up from her seat and gathers the empty plate on the table. "I'm going to wash the dishes now."

"Let me-"

"Takemichi, mind if you lend me a hand?" Before May could finish her sentence volunteering herself to help Hinata wash the dishes instead got rejected by Hinata who asked the question to Takemichi instead. Takemichi immediately nods his head in response, finally got to spend some quality time with his girl alone without anyone disturbing them. May was then left with Chifuyu who sat at the opposite side as the two couple went to the kitchen to wash the dishes.

It was obvious that there was tension between the two, as if there's a thick ice wall between them. The two was trying to think of a certain topic to talk about to break the ice yet they also couldn't help but to think that... Is that even the same person whom I met last time? The two thought at the same time.

"So erm..." Chifuyu decided to man up this time and spark the conversation between them as May looks at him with unstable gaze, feeling a bit nervous what the boy was about to say. "Thank you... For preparing the yakisoba. It was very nice of you." Chifuyu said, scratching the back of his head to cover his embarrassment.

May nods her head as a response to the boy's statement. Then they fell into an awkward silence again. It didn't took them long until...

"About the other day...-" Chifuyu and May who spoke up unionly made them lock their eyes together, which lasted a few seconds before looking away in embarrassment. "Let's just not talk about that for the moment." May asked. Deep down, she actually didn't want to bring up the topic so that she could avoid from getting caught red handed that she told Hinata that Chifuyu was a weird boy. On the other hand, Chifuyu also didn't want to bring up the topic too because the memory of him crying in front of the girl lingers in his mind, which made him embarrassed as a boy who supposed to act tough.

"Yeah, you're right. " Chifuyu agreed as they awkwardly laughed. May then switches the topicto continue their conversation by asking. "So, I actually noticed something on my handkerchief that you used to wrap my wound." Chifuyu looks at the girl in confusion and wanting to know what is it as the May pursues. "There's some scratch marks on the handkerchief." May said, pointing at the handkerchief where the scratch marks on it.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. It must've been my cat that played with it the other day-"

"You have a cat?" Chifuyu who is cut off I mid sentence, looks up to see the girl staring at him with excitement clearly written all over her face. Chifuyu nods his head in respond. "Really? I love cats. I owned one cat before when I was a child, but I don't know where did it ran off." May said, trying to cover how upset she was and feel a bit guilty at same time for not being a responsible owner. Chifuyu who noticed the girl's sudden change of expression, couldn't help but to giggle to himself as he states.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Well, I actually have a cat, his name is Peke J." Chifuyu then pulls out his flip phone from his pocket, opens his gallery to show the girl some of Peke J's photo that he took.

"That's so cute." May couldn't help from holding herself back from reacting to the cute picture of Peke J. The two have a smooth conversation for a while, talking about the cats and the pet shop that Chifuyu worked. All of a sudden, the front door suddenly opens...
